I think I found my go to local Chinese spot in Aurora! I've lived in the area for 2 years now and have tried different Chinese takeout spots but haven't found the right fit for our preferences. Mei Ling's has the perfect amount of classic Chinese takeout vibes on their menu. When you just want those nostalgic dishes for a great price. We got the chicken balls (thick meat to batter ratio and perfectly crispy), sweet and sour pork (a childhood fav) and the thick rice noodles stir fry with beef (I wish it had more of a wok flavor but still very good). They also do free local delivery starting at 4pm which really adds to the value. I can't wait to try more dishes!

Recently moved to the neighbourhood, thought we’d try out the local Chinese takeout. Food is pretty bland, not much taste. Quantity is large however didnt find any of the food tasty. Lacking spice and flavour in general. Disappointed as haven’t had good Chinese food in a while. Will probably not go back again.

Multiple terrible experiences for the past year or so. Every single time they mess up the order and then deny it without providing any compensation or compromise. Just argue and then hang up the phone at your face.Very unfortunate as we have been customers for a while- definitely no more. You’d think a business would prefer to provide a replacement of a 10$ item to keep a consistent customer. Their loss.
What are you doing to the soo guy? I always order 2 orders and lately it is dried out chicken and inedible. I complained to the owner and she said yes she knew and that the cook didn't understand and it would be good now and it wasn't. We used to order 120.00 worth of food and pay 25.00 tip for them to deliver from aurora to south newmarket (Savage road area). Not worth it anymore and stopped ordering.

I haven't tasted Chinese food this amazing in years! I live in Brampton, where we have only mediochre mall Chinese food being offered. Mei Ling offers Chinese food that I remember having as a kid - completely delicious and well worth going out of your way for! The next time I'm in Aurora, I'm definitely going there!
