Restaurant is super casual. You can see supply boxes in plain sight, as well as a counter with chopsticks, napkins, jugs, etc.

I ordered liangpi with chilli oil sauce for $6.99, popcorn chicken for $7.99 and beef stir fry noodles for $14.99.

Of all three items, I’d only recommend the liangpi. It’s only available from Friday-Sunday, and I believe they only sell it during the summertime. I liked the flavours and the chilli oil was great; noodle texture was nice too. I’m just not a big fan of meatless dishes though.

I didn’t like the popcorn chicken because it’s just dry and felt chalky / powdery and wasn’t juicy and fragrant.

The beef stir fry noodle was made with round noodles, onions, cabbage and carrot. I thought it was alright, but a tad bit too salty and not enough wok hei.

Service was quick and attentive.

Delicious hot noodles and they arrive quickly.
The classic noodles are pretty thick, so next time I would go thin.

My only qualm is that the server was practically watching me eat, which was pretty uncomfortable. It's good to check on customers here and there, but standing on guard and watching is too awkward and creates pressure.

Our first time coming to noodle max and it was busy on a Friday night. We ordered their signature beef noodle and beef stir fry. Both came pretty quickly: The broth was flavourful (but a bit too much MSG) and the beef was tender, noodles were done just right. The beef stir fry was solid as well except the sauce got a bit watery at the end. Overall it was a good dining experience!

One of the best noodle spots in the GTA!! Always excited to come back when I’m in the neighbourhood. Sesame cold noodles and beef wrap are my go-to’s!

Noodle Max has been our go to place for noodles and authentic northern Chinese dishes in Aurora / Newmarket region since it’s opened. The food is amazing and so as the service! I wish I could take better pictures or at least pictures for a whole plate but we couldn’t wait to dig in 😅. Highly recommend the noodle, liangpi and pork mo!

I quite enjoyed my experience here. The noodle soup was fresh, tasty, and huge in portion. Ingredients were delicious and went well together. I also tried the bbq tofu and Gyozas and they were both delicious. Overall recommend it to anyone who wants to try some noodle dishes.

- broth is a little lacking in flavour

For $14, it's decent value for money.
