We went to State and Main to celebrate birthdays. We were out on the patio. There were 5 of us. Each ordering different menu items plus a couple appetizers. Everyone very much enjoyed their meals, drinks and appetizers. My only complaint is the outdoor bench seating with cushions are too low. Comfortable, but too low. I felt like a child sitting at a big table. I highly recommend State and Main for any occasion.

The Manager was very welcoming and warm and welcoming me home to my hometown of Aurora. Thank you for the server who served your staff are awesome warm and welcoming. The food was really awesome the house salad was excellent the wine was reasonable. the homemade Chricken tender s were the bomb the bison burger was excellent. If anyone living around the surrounding area of Aurora I highly recommend this beautiful decor very comfortable seating to my fellow Aurorians have a night at State of Main I will definitely be a regular customer and I'm bringing my family and friends to this wonderful place 😀 😊 💜 ❤️

Well, let me tell you, I will be coming back. Not only was the meal I had amazing, other items on the menu need to be tried!
I am not sure I have had a dinig experience like this in my few decades. I went for lunch with a friend, we opted for the patio.
Our server Jessica, was incredible. Attentive without hovering, polite, friendly, very personable. We ordered frozen drinks and it being the beginning of lunch, they were still setting up the machine. Jessica kept us updated when the minutes passed after our drink order, even though we weren't in a hurry, just chatting and catching up.
Friend and I both ordered The Empire State steak which came with mash and asparagus. Mine was perfect, friend decided she needed a little less moo and they refired her steak, with no problems and many apologies. No apologies necessary!
If you are looking for good food, great service and a relaxed dining experience for date night or any other night, highly recommend. Enjoy, diners!
