Amazing food, well worth the price! I could tell they used quality ingredients because everything looked and tasted so fresh! Lattes are also frothy and rich! The tiny market inside the restaurant looks cool too, we bagged a few authentic stuff!

This is exactly what Canada in general needs ! A perfectly well balanced menu , I’m sick and tired of the traditional Canadian breakfast. Sweet dutchess offers and refreshed breakfast/ brunch. Filled with flavour.

A bit of a late review.
I was going through a mentally tough time and decided to go for a drive, this place came up in my search, and I’m so glad it did. I visited on a weekday afternoon and, by chance, found the exact olive oil I had been searching for everywhere. I picked up a few bottles right away.

When I noticed the small kitchen tucked inside, I couldn’t help but wonder what kind of food would a place that carries such good quality ingredients serve?
And again that day, I was emotionally drained, but the warm, attentive service and thoughtful food truly brought me back to life.

It seems like the menu changes weekly. While it may not be fine dining in the traditional sense, the quality of the food, the care in service, and the overall atmosphere are truly on par.

This place has become my little sanctuary, somewhere I’ll only bring my favorite people. Please don’t become too popular… I want to keep it to myself.

More than just a good meal, it was a genuinely healing experience.

Cozy little restaurant and cafe in the neighbourhood! Lots of options with a touch of Dutch which is pretty unique! Food was fresh and delicious. Coffee was good as well. Hospitable service. Great place to hang out with your loved ones! They have a shop too with lots of items which I had never seen before!

The owner Rob is such a great and inviting guy. My girlfriend and I had probably one of the most welcoming dinners weve ever had at Restaurant. The environment was personal and warm. The dishes tasted amazing and the way they were presented was amazing. I would definitely recommend to anybody looking to enjoy a great vibe and dinner combo.

Wow wow wow. If you're looking for flavourful food with premium fresh ingredients, top notch service, and the ambiance of fine dining with a menu that changes every Friday, then this is your place. From the minute you enter this establishment you can feel the vibe of excellence and pride in everything they do. We had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

This is a remarkable restaurant in Aurora, perfect for breakfast, brunck and lunch. If they start serving dinner I expect it would be fantastic as well. The coffee and pastries are all top notch. We are lucky to have Sweet Duchess in Aurora.

Had the croissant French toast and my wife had the crab cake Benedict. Would strongly recommend both.

Like their soups and baked goods - cookies and the lemon ricotta cake are good.

Had the pleasure of stopping at this wonderful gem a few days ago. There is a very warm vibe to the place. Our server, AR was extremely thoughtful and perceptive. In the beginning, I got myself a cake and iced latte from the coffee shop area not knowing that there was an inside dining area as well. When we went to sit there, she kindly took the cake in its plastic box and bought it back on a plate with berries and a dusting of sugar. In terms of food everything we ordered was good. The potato croquettes were exceptional as was the sauce that comes with it.

"Sweet Dutchess" is relatively new to Aurora, went there for brunch on a lovely fall day. The welcoming was pretty nice from the host who asked if we had a reservation (you will need one as the place is somewhat small) we did not but the accommodated fast. The menu is nice and simple, we had a salmon croissant, poached eggs with spinach and mushrooms on a bed of toast and Shatsuka. The last one was nothing so spectacular but the salmon croissant and the eggs were really tasty and fresh. The atmosphere is really cute and cozy and you can sit outside. The service was quite disappointing, our server missed several things from what we needed, forgot to bring water and just was not into making the serving experience a good one for us. One of the other servers when asked to please bring us water, gave me a really nasty passive aggressive look and... she did not bring the water herself asking somebody else to bring it for us. I have lived in Aurora for more than 20 years. I am a visible minority and never ever, have I had a problem with people making faces at us or mistreating us but there was unfortunately something about the service here that my family and I did not feel comfortable with, almost a bit "snobbish"; too bad since I am not going to be returning here to give them my business and I will not recommend it either. Watch management, with a restaurant you NEED excellent friendly service otherwise no matter how good the food is, people will not come back. It's really sad as we initially thought we had finally found our weekend breakfast place.
