I was the only customer inside the restaurant and ordered 2 shawarmas for my wife and I. Asked how long the fries would take and was told 2-3mins. Went ahead and got the combo. 3 other clients came in and placed an order. 20min went by and I was shocked the food wasnt ready yet. Found out that they were cooking for the clients that came after me and received my food 30 min after. Im not the one to complain or make a big fuss. Im totally understandable. But I came in thinking my food would take 15-20 min max. Got my food after 30Min and wasnt happy eating it at all.

I went on Saturday and everything was delicious. I’m a very picky shawarma eater — it’s one of my favourite foods and I have high standards — and this place absolutely delivered.
I had the chicken shawarma salad bowl and it was amazing. The salad is pre-mixed before the chicken is added, with the garlic paste on top, so every bite was well balanced and flavourful. I had it medium hot and it was perfect.
My husband had the habanero chicken shawarma wrap and loved it — the wrap came with French fries inside, which was a really nice surprise.
On top of that, the value is fantastic. Both the salad and wrap came to around $29 taxes in, which is hard to find these days for food this good.
We’ll definitely be back.

Friendly welcome from the moment we came in. Nishita and Rakesh had smiles on their faces and were so generous in making our meal. Great flavour, so fresh and tasty! They even offered us a complimentary wrap to try which was made in error instead of a bowl from their online orders. Delicious and toasted perfectly! Highly recommend this Aurora location! :)
We took our kids to Tahini in Aurora and had a great experience. There are plenty of meal options that work well for kids, which made it easy for the whole family to enjoy. As someone who is Middle Eastern, the food felt very close to what I normally eat, flavourful, comforting, and not overly Americanized. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming for families. Definitely a spot we’d go back to.
