The Chicken Place has always been mine and my husband’s favourite place to eat in Aurora! So we decided to get them to cater our wedding that we had this September. Our guests absolutely loved it! The food was (as always) positively delicious! The food came right on time, perfectly cooked/transported/ packaged and easy to serve! We are so thankful to have such a wonderful and delicious memory of our first dinner together as a married couple. Thank you so much to the very kind and talented staff at The Chicken Place Aurora. We highly recommend The Chicken Place for dinner or a catered event!

Yet another one of our favourite take out restaurants has changed owners since Covid and unfortunately not for the better. After a long absence I placed a take out order order . Upon returning home the chicken was cold the fries were inedible dried up little match sticks we ended up throwing out . The coleslaw lacked flavor. What a total waste of money. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place .

Tried again. Burnt bread on 1 part. Soggy on the other side. Fatty meat not properly trimmed. Did not get what I asked in my order.

Was recently introduced to this place and I've wanted it every night since!
To start off, No one working at “The Chicken Place” is Portuguese… if you own a Portuguese restaurant I recommend that you hire Portuguese workers. Next, The potato’s were burned DO NOT BUY THE POTATOES! (Unless you like burnt potatoes). Also, The rice did not taste like Portuguese rice. Lastly, The meal was very expensive! 50$ for food that did not taste good. I would rather spend 50$ on fast food. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant.

Yummy and filling chicken. Really liked their potatoes too. This was the first time I’ve tried them! My husband’s rice pilaf was delicious too. Will likely go for the spicier sauce next time as the medium was quite mild for my taste buds. Will return!
This used to be my favourite place for Portuguese chicken up here away from downtown. Now not so much. the quality has gone way down. bland unseasoned chicken, I don't think they even used any piri piri while cooking it. the side pirir piri sauce was not good at all and was a tiny portion. All the staff seems different, Im not sure this place can really be called Portuguese anymore. its just chicken. Maybe I got them on a bad couple of days, maybe the staff was new and training, maybe there could be new owners I don't now. but I cant say it was as good as it once was.

This place should be Portuguese ( style ) chicken as is not Portuguese run or cooked. Also way over priced 25$ for a chicken when u can get for 16$ or 17$in any other Portuguese place. U have to wait 1/2 hr for chicken and was dry. Potatoes wore dry over done and salty as hell. Will not return or recommend. The People working wore nice.
