We have ordered from Yamato Sushi for the last few years, and every time we are highly satisfied with the quality of food and its presentation. The variety and pricing is reasonable and fair, and staff is kind in accommodating any requests and specific order timing. Never had an issue and will order from Yamato Sushi again and again. Highly recommend this place for quality party trays and individual rolls.

Best sushi without a doubt!!! So fresh huge portions only take out essentially at the Aurora location but what great sushi . Tops all others like mine minimani all good but Yamamoto takes the prize!!!!!!

Open to revisiting and changing my review but was definitely disappointed today in my lunch order which included 2 spicy rolls (salmon/tuna). At a glance, both are filled generously but upon closer look they are 95% tempura batter with tiny specks of meat. You’re better off ordering the sashimi combos. See other reviews for accurate picture reference. The dynamite roll was ok.

Terrible presentation of some mushed up mixture that is rolled up and cut into massive pieces with a very distasteful presentation! Not tasty for the most part either. Not appealing to look at! I think instead of making the portions bigger and bigger , it's better to focus on the basics! Sushi is supposed to be a culinary art. A beautiful presentation of fresh and tasty ingredients delicately put together and rolled up into mouth-size pieces to satisfy people's pallet! What we received today was far from that and very disappointing!

Love the value you get from Yamato! We ordered the medium roll party tray! We chose spicy salmon, spicy scallop, double shrimp tempura roll, orange fire roll, and orange dragon roll. What we love the most about Yamato is that their rolls are never packed with rice but rather with their ingredients. Their spicy salmon roll is presented differently than most places where the fish is chopped more finely almost like a salmon mousse instead of visible piece like most restaurants do. Either way it’s still packed with flavor and punch from the spiciness. The staff is always friendly and service is always fast! Highly recommend Yamato especially if you are looking for party tray, the value for ten quality and quantity will not disappoint!
