The wait stuff are always pleasant when I've been there, breakfast is great and portions prefect. Cost is very reasonable as well. There store itself, very well kept ,clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. It is a small shop but just right in my opinion.

Lasagna is absolute garbage! Don't ever use broken lasagna noodles and Don't ever serve it in a banana split boat again. I want a man size serving on a plate! And what's with the tiny crustinis you call garlic bread? I want a full piece of bread toasted with garlic butter! What a disaster!

Johnny's Restaurant is hands down my favorite breakfast spot. Every time I go, the food is consistently excellent — hot, fresh, and generous portions that actually fill you up. You can tell they care about doing breakfast right.
The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, exactly what you want in a small-town diner. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and service is quick even when they’re busy.
If you’re in Aylmer and want a proper breakfast that never disappoints, this is the place. I’ll keep coming back — it’s become a go-to for me.

Been coming to Johnny's about 20 years, which pre-dates the current owners, but have been burned by chain and London restaurants lately, so just came to do a happy review. You will never be disappointed if you go to Johnny's. We were there Saturday for taco soup, which is to die for and a lovely BLT and fries. If you get Betty for your waitress, you're in for a treat because she'll remember your order forever. The food is hot and fresh and much of it is hand made. The atmosphere is neat and clean and I love getting a booth. Prices have definitely gone up in the past few years, but so has everything. Try the eggs benny as well, which I had the week before, they're for sure among the best in the area and I have tried them all!

Food and service were very good. Price was very high. 2 Western Omlettes, 1 Pancake, 2 Coffee, 1Apple Juice. We asked if they served breakfast still because it was 10 after 12 and we're told yes. Weren't told there was a 1 dollar surcharge per item though. 3 dollar charge for onions added to the Homefries. With tip (15%) the total was $71.61 For Breakfast. I wish we had known there was a 1 dollar surcharge per item and a 3 dollar charge to add onions. Great food and service but you won't see us again

The food here is great and the prices are fair and I hate to leave a 1 star review but we have witnessed it too many times where the owner of this restaurant will yell and degrade her waitresses or kitchen staff out in the open or you can hear her yelling from the kitchen. It’s very unprofessional and quite honestly she should be embarrassed that is no way to treat your employees especially infront of customers. Aylmer doesn’t have many dine in options but I’d rather go to rubys and pay more for my meal instead of going to Johnnys and witness blatant work place harassment. If we only saw this once I wouldn’t leave a review like this but we’ve witnessed this now multiple times from the owner and 1 particular waitress.

Today was my second time at Johnny’s. First time was on a Saturday for breakfast where I had to line up to get in and I have no complaints for that experience. I went today for breakfast and it was nice that it was not super busy that I did not feel somewhat rushed like my first time. Food and service were great. This is a great breakfast place.
