Despite arriving close to closing time after a long day at the Cranberry Festival, our two families were warmly welcomed. The food and service were great, and the owner went above and beyond by bringing out Halloween candies when they were out of desserts to celebrate our friend’s birthday. A must-visit spot when you're in Bala, Ontario’s cranberry capital!

Good spot for a very casual family lunch. Standard pub fare, good selection of draft beer on tap with rotating specials. Had smash burgers (sadly the fried chicken sandwiches were sold out) and 3 kids shared an adult chicken fingers and one kids burger - more than enough for them. High chairs available. Good atmosphere. Will visit again

Can't speak to the food, as we went there for drinks before a concert. But there were sold out of a lot, so assuming it's good. The bar staff were amazing, very friendly and fun to chat with.

Absolutely Horrible customer service, I have been to over 150+ restaurants, including fine dining Michelin restaurant, never experience such a rude hostess. My friend went to ask if they have any donuts on their menu. She said “NO” with attitude, then my friend asked if they have any dessert on their menu, she exclaimed : “I SAID NO”.

Boated here today to go for a drink, got a menu at the desk outside and sat on the patio. There was only one other table here and no one came to say hi or take our orders after 20 minutes so we left disappointed - servers were more interested in their phones/talking to each other

Our food was delicious, unfortunately our server ruined the experience for us with painfully slow service. When she took our drink order we asked to order our food. She said not now, maybe later. I've done this job for many years and would never say that to a customer. We are usually very generous tippers but hers was reflected due to her attitude and poor service.
