Stopped here the other day for lunch. I had the jerk chicken, and my sister had the chicken curry. We both enjoyed our meals. The woman who served us was also the person cooking the meals. She was very pleasant and described to my sister how she makes her curry. We will definitely return to try other items that they serve . The restaurant is nothing fancy but the food is very flavourful. I have already recommended it to friends.

Absolutely love this place!! Delicious Jamaican food. We had jerk chicken, jerk pork and a side of oxtail...YUM!! While our food was being prepared, Natalie sent us over a patty... yummmmy! You can tell that love goes into each meal served, its like eating at home. Natalie is the best (glad you're back). Looking forward to your music nights for hubby and myself to have Date night. We'll see you again soon.

Disappointed.
I really don’t understand how this place has good reviews. The food tasted awful, like it was either made from old ingredients or had been sitting around for days. It was anything but fresh. On top of that, I couldn’t even use the washroom because it was either closed or always occupied. The overall atmosphere was just unpleasant—definitely not a place I’d want to come back to. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

House/pet sitting down the street happened to notice there was a Jamaican restaurant 10 minute walk away in the middle of nowhere. However, as I asked the owner Natalie, why not here… staff is personable. Owner is amazing. The food is perfection. Best Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had with the perfect seasoning. I would’ve preferred a little more cheese a little more peppers, but I can’t complain. French fries were cooked to perfection as I asked coleslaw’s best I’ve ever had dressing is to die for. Natalie was kind enough to give me a small sample of the oxtail which actually had the beans in it the way it’s supposed to butter beans tail is reminiscent of your grandmother‘s cooking from Jamaica. Let me just say that it’s on par with the best that I’ve ever had hands-down the best Axel I’ve ever had at a restaurantI would drive from Toronto up here just for her cooking. I will be bringing the family here to eat when there’s not 20 cm of snow on the ground. Oh, and I forgot to say the food is worth every penny the portions are huge and the quality is 20 out of 10.
Parking: Huge parking lot tons of space
Kid-friendliness: It’s a family restaurant suitable for children

A hidden Gem!
I recently discovered this incredible Jamaican restaurant with a touch of Canadian offerings while driving on Highway 48, and it has quickly become a favorite for my family and me. Meeting the owner, Natalie, was an unforgettable experience—she is warm, kind, and treats every guest with genuine love and respect.
On my second visit I thought the restaurant had closed, but I was thrilled to learn it was reopening under Natalie’s management as of January 20th, as confirmed by updates on Facebook. Her return has truly brought a special touch back to this place.
For years, my family and I have been searching for a restaurant that serves healthy, flavorful food, and this one is a perfect fit. While it specializes in authentic Jamaican cuisine, it also includes Canadian dishes, offering something for everyone. Every meal is thoughtfully prepared with high-quality oils like olive and coconut oil, and Natalie goes above and beyond to source the finest herbs and meats—even importing them from overseas.
It’s worth noting that everything is cooked fresh to order, so there might be a bit of a wait—but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. The food doesn’t just taste amazing; it’s made with love and care, and you can taste it. For those with gluten sensitivities, there are also accommodating options, making it inclusive for all diners.
Natalie’s dedication to her craft and her guests is unmatched, creating an atmosphere that feels like home. My family and I left feeling content, joyful, and deeply appreciative of the entire experience. If you’re looking for a place that offers authentic Jamaican flavors, healthy options, and a welcoming environment, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit.
