While the food and atmosphere were good. I did not enjoy the dessert, as it tasted like it was a few days too old. (Coconut cream pie should be light and fluffy-this was not the case)
It was not particularly pleased with opening the door handle leading to the washroom area as it was covered in grease? I had to call over an employee to show her the grease on my hand.

Excellent food, service was great, and they went the extra mile with my daughter with a little treasure chest surprise! We will come back!

This place was fantastic. Small country diner atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was great. I ordered a Banquet Burger with fries and a pop. The price was very reasonable. The food was high quality and well cooked.

Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the area.

Great food, great service

Ordered soup and fish/chips...soup was good. Batter was overcooked yet somehow fish was cold. Apparently they run out of coleslaw every week but this was not mentioned until the meal arrived. No dinner roll either...guess they had run out of those too.
I did not eat much of the meal and told my waitress it wasn't good. I was not charged for it and would have left it at that but was then chirped by another waitress ( name unknown) who had nothing to do with my table but evidently did not like my attitude. She proceeded to tell me I had been complaining constantly (not true) and after listening to her very unprofessional chatter told her she had lost a customer to which she replied that she had enough and didn't need my business. I have eaten here before and had enjoyed it. This time the meal was incomplete and simply awful. I will not be back. This review may come up as Marion and Geoffrey Skuse but this is Geoff and these sentiments are mine and mine alone.

Waitress was the only thing good.
We ordered corned beef on rye, rhuben and a side poutine, just water to drink. They were the smallest sandwiches we have ever seen. $15 just for a rhuben sandwich.
The meat was so tough we couldn't even chew it. The fries tasted burnt and swimming in gravy and very few curds. Our bill was over $42. I have eaten in places where the food wasn't great but this is the worst ever. Not one thing could we say we liked.

We were delighted by the warm and friendly service provided by Jack. Despite the restaurant being quite busy he was always attentive to our coffee levels and provided excellent service to everyone around
