This place is a great little restaurant! The young lady working the cash was very friendly, we got great food for a great price! There was a cheese burger aswell, but it was gone before I could get a picture lol

Good toasted western sandwich. Server was friendly.
Overpriced for sure . Even for a northern community. Over 30$ for two breakfasts. A tablespoon portion of homemade strawberry jam, and homemade mango pineapple jam… Neither of which had any flavor. Both of our plates had around 10 home fries and the toast paper thin… The eggs were cooked nicely and so was the bacon. no one came around to offer warm-ups of coffee or warm-ups of tea.

Reheated fries, tasteless chicken. And the waitress was mopping the stinking floors in the restaurant even though there was an hour before closing!

Amazing homemade burgers and fresh cut fries! I was making the trip for Toronto to Pembroke, stopped here for a bite to eat and did not regret it!
Incredible food and even better service!

We went for lunch and ordered a smoked meet poutine, sausage and a wrap with no bacon wanted over 30 min. The sausage was burnt with nothing on it, bacon was on the wrap & All the tables were dirty.

This place should improve on their hygiene. I saw the lady finishing transaction, scratching her head and serving ice cream without washing hands or putting gloves on. Absolutely disgusting. Same the gentleman/cook. Finished at the cash register abd went to prepare and touch someone's food. Will definitely not eat here. Back didn't seem to be clean also.

The food tasted alright but the value for the food is very poor due to the serving sizes being quite small.

We sat outside at the patio. Beautiful day. There were all sorts of flavors to choose from. Butter pecan, raspberry cream, espresso flake, orange pineapple with real bits of fruit in it! They had sorbet as well. The ice cream is from Kawartha dairy. Excellent stuff! The smell of freshly made waffle cones was permeating the streets. There was a line to order but it went by fast. The staff is younger but they are quick and have lovely dispositions where it's fun to banter back and forth. I guess tiger tale is really for the tourists. (Orange ice cream with black licorice stripe throughout.) They have food items too. Poutine, Burgers, polish brats.

When the wrong meal was brought to our table and left to return with more order, the server took it back to the kitchen and spoke with the cook then took the order to another table. Totally disgusting to let sit on our table then serve to another. The health department needs to set training guidelines at this restaurant.
