A great crew and good food, with local ingredients and local craft beer among the usual bar fare. Also had a great birthday party there last year, the clientele is fun too, a great village hangout.

Love the atmosphere, amazing food and great service.
Incredible food made with fresh, local ingredients. Great specials and an even better regular menu. It’s wonderful to see it change with the seasons while hanging on to a few favourites. We love seeing all the local drink options, including so many great non-alcoholic mocktails and drinks, on the menu. We love being neighbours with y’all. So grateful to have our favourite restaurant right across the street in our beautiful village!

Welborne Commons is a cozy English-style pub with a welcoming atmosphere, known as one of the friendliest bars around. Their Fish n' Chips are a must-try, known for their delicious taste and large portions, while the smash burger and gourmet grill cheese also stand out. The pub is popular, so reservations are recommended on Friday and Saturday. Lunch with groups of any size is enjoyable, with a varied menu including tasty options like the honey harissa bowl and butternut squash soup. The staff are super friendly and the food is outstanding, with dishes like deep fried brie delighting guests. The cleanliness of the fryer oil is evident in the appealing color of the fries and fish. Other guests are friendly, often sharing stories about themselves and the Bath area. Note that there are stairs at the entrance, which might not be easy for wheelchair users.
