Date of visit: Saturday, March 2nd, 2024.On a Daytrip to Huron County, we visited the lovely town of Bayfield, ON.This is a great soot to spend an afternoon - do some shopping at quaint stores, visit a lovely bakery, check out home decor stores, enjoy the Pioneer park overlooking the gorgeous Lake Huron, and more.We decided to stay and have dinner at one of the local restaurants as well.We visited the Bayfield Brewing Company for a local brew and some good food.It is a cute little restaurant with a ‘life at the lake’ vibes. Very cozy and comfortable.We ordered a couple of their beers - the Witbier - with orange and coriander, as well as the Hazy Sunset. - both light and refreshing.Unfortunately, the restaurant was out of a few items - and had to make some substitutions. Minor issues - that weren’t that bad.We ordered the Thai Chicken Wonton Nachos - this had 2 substitutions - Nacho chips instead of wontons and fried chicken. But the nachos were still very tasty.We ordered the Meatloaf sandwich with fries and the Shrimp po boy with fries.Both were served in unexpected ways - the meatloaf was open faced , and the po boy on a brioche bun instead of a roll. But both were very tasty.Our server was very friendly and pleasant. The food was tasty - the beer was cold and refreshing, the atmosphere was cozy and casual - although there was a large group of a bridal party - who were on a beer tour - and thus drunk and loud. Overall - this was a good experience - and we would definitely come back in a future visit to Bayfield.

Had the lunch special...shrimp tacos. They were very good and their fries were awesome. Had their Hazy IPA. I love IPAs and this one is the best hazy IPA I have had. I ended up buying 12 to go. Service was beyond fantastic. Derick was great.

Beers and drinks always great. All our dishes were very tasty and would recommend them to others. The club house, wrap, fried chicken and roast beef sandwich. My only issue is the ventilation. I always leave smelling like I've been cooking over the grill. Requiring an excessive amount of Fabreez for winter coats.

Worth the drive to Bayfield!My wife and I have been frequenting Grand Bend and we were looking for a different place to try. And did we find it! Local businesses are the best! Everyone is super friendly, the atmosphere is absolutely wonderful! Terrific selection of their own beer! And the food, Amazing!!! (See photos)Highly Recommend.

We visited for lunch on a cold and rainy day (Oct 8, 2023). We had a large group including 3 young children. We were made to feel very welcomed and comfortable, our server was extremely nice and attentive. The food was amazing, my husband and I split a rueben and sweet potato fries and it was delicious! I tried a beer flight and loved every one. We would definitely return any time we are back I the area.
Salmon amazing was cooked to perfection served with the best potatoes ever . The chef even came to our table to see how everything is. Gotta check this place out .

The salmon ( orange crusted ) was probally the best I ever had . Cooked to perfection . Fingerling potatoes say what wowsers they were fantastic. A must visit on your travels. Chef Michael truely cares about his guests who come for dinner

From the moment I walked my server Angel made sure I knew what the features were and that I was well taken care of along with Derik and Alyssa definitely great assets.The new Chef Mike is truly a master in the kitchen my Mushroom Pot app and ribeye steak main were second to none. Him and his young assistant ran a great kitchen as the place flooded with people. Definitely worth the drive.
