We loved our Date Squares and Danishes served fresh at Humble Pie Bakery! A quaint Bakery with a pleasant atmosphere and nice display of freshly baked items. Humble Pie supports local Artists on a feature wall inside the Bakery displaying paintings and beautiful Art Cards!

Stopped in here on our way home from a weekend up north. So glad we did! Picked up this beautiful vegetable and cheese quiche along with some of the best scones we've ever had also picked up a couple of fantastic sandwiches and a butter tart and because we had spent a certain amount of money we got two free beautiful cinnamon rolls! This will definitely be a must stop for us anytime we are up this way again

Great pastry and delicious lunch options.
I was there today for lunch while working in town, stopped in was welcomed by the owner she is a sweetheart, I had a panini and a slice but while waiting for those to warm up I couldn’t resist trying the chicken pot pie. Which I ate for dinner tonight it was amazing now I’m going to have one of her plain butter tarts aswell defiantly recommend trying the place out great food !!!
Used to make legendary pies and butter tarts, but it no longer does they stopped making things in the house and now all of the piecrust are pre fab. 42$ for a pie and 6 tarts. I was extremely disappointed with the quality, the pie not only did it appear to be premade crust. It was undercooked, and the filling was under seasoned, and it appeared that they may have used canned peaches. It was a big disappointment, and I will not return there.
There were naked crackheads around the store and staff was unhelpful and rude

Came here hoping for just a decent butter tart and this was the WRONG place to go. The atmosphere feels unsafe all cracked out looking people that just give unwanted looks. as-well having a young girl work the cash that has no clue what world she’s in. I asked to see a butter tart and she’s like there in the back what kind of place keeps there food there trying to sell in the back so no one can see lol! Aswell you can ONLY BUY 6 which is 15$ down the drain tasted way to sweet and one bite and the whole thing leaked everywhere it was like runny diarrhoea I wouldn’t recommend this place to any besides drug lovers definitely could find some of that there

The best little pie shop in northern Ontario. The owner, Michelle, makes the best tourtiere west of Quebec! :) Honestly, a summer without her tourtiere is absolute sadness!!! She's been serving customers for over a decade and has a wonderful selection of sweet and savory pies, pizzas and beautiful baked goods. We LOVE Humble Pie and Michelle and are so happy to support local.

We heard a lot about this place and were very excited to try the butter tarts. What a disappointment! The girl at the front seemed phased by my questions which were, how much are they, what flavors do you have? You can only buy a pack of 6 for $15 which would have be fine if they were good but they were awful. I asked for 2 packages but she said "I can only sell you one" Thank God, what a waste of money.
No wonder you can't buy 1 butter tart at a time, they would never make money. Anyway I would not recommend

This is a mini-rant for those expecting business owners to have every product every day at a really really good price when they, the customer, decide to stop in. Perhaps once, perhaps 3 times a year, perhaps perhaps but it had better be five-star when they arrive! We live in an electronic age - to be sure you get your butter tarts, pizza or custard tart entitlement why not go online and order or … call the shoppe!? Instead of leaving nasty reviews because someone got there before you? Good heavens!! Owning and running your own business is very very difficult. While customers are mulling over their orders I’ve seen Michelle dash back to an oven and save the hot-cross buns or cookies. I don’t need the shopkeeper to stand beside me while I make my purchase decisions… do you? !The tarts are delicious, when available, there’s lots of creative scone flavours, bread variations, focaccia-s, brownies, tarts, and amazing meat pie. The old-fashioned braised beef pie is absolutely delicious and I always try to have a frozen one for meals on those lazy, snowed-in kinda days. The prices are market prices. It’s not cheaper to buy in a small town bakery - it’s the same as everywhere else in the area if not a bit less. I didn’t see any complaints about quality. That’s because everything is as delicious as you expect it to be. If you want more for less then may suggest you will find factory made treats in a plastic box at your nearest grocery retailer.Until then, please be respectful and thankful we have so many hardworking “boss ladies” with attitude who can still keep their businesses running profitably despite the whiny reviews. Thanks for all of the yummy goodies each time I stop in.
