Bought a muffin and banana bread today. Muffin was not what was advertised, the young lady was very sweet when I called about it, I was able to go back and get my money back. The banana bread I just had some tonight. Sadly I was not satisfied with it. Very dry and bland, no banana taste at all. The atmosphere is amazing, the service is exceptional, unfortunately the baked goods were not. Sandwiches there are excellent as well
The ice cream hut was incredibly cute and had Kawartha Dairy ice cream for the prices listed in the attached photo. Note that the portion sizes were quite large, so even the baby size was fine for an adult. There were outdoor chairs and patio tables you could use.
The main store was cute, but the prices were unbelievable - e.g. $6.50 for a takeout buttered bagel. Antique section upstairs was haphazard, but the paintings of local spots were lovely

We went to Bayville to get out for a bit and planned to go to Miss Nelle’s based on reviews and photos. I don’t know what’s happened, but it wasn’t worth the trip, it’s dark and super pricey, I know it’s a tourist area but $4 for a medium coffee was insane. We left without getting ice cream - a small was $7.25 and another $2.50 if you want a waffle cone. We ended up getting ice cream from the food truck at the gas station for 1/2 the price and bigger sizes.
