Really tasty food, lots of bacon in my grilled cheese, pretty sure the poutine gravy is homemade and was delicious. Yummy burger and flavourful salad with real bacon. Definitely recommend! Got some apple strudels and carrot muffin too, the carrot muffin is very cinnamon-y and delicious.
Few other choices along this part of Hwy 11.Chanced upon this restaurant. We were Pleasantly surprised. On Busy truck route road. Entertaining us during lunch.Simple meals but home made. Amazing tomato soup, grilled ham & cheese. I had the Best fresh burger!! Anna ran the show. Friendly, clean and Covid awareness practices. With only 4 tables or offered takeout. The food Filled us up and we were on our way. Bought a few Baked goods to go. :) Thanks ? Thought the snow came early...read full review
I like the setting of this restaurant, it's in a house. Tables are in front of a stone fireplace. I had hamburger nip and my son had bacon cheese burger and poutine, both of which taste just perfect, not too salty like we had elsewhere, burger is fresh and cooked just right so juicy.
