This restaurant has superb service as well as delightful meals. One of my favourite places around town. The food and drinks arrived rapidly and the prices are economical. Recommended.

Website states fine dining...when this is not a fine dining establishment but more of a home cooked comfort food. If comparing , the food is no better than hitting up your local Wimpys Diner. If I had known this I could have saved some time and not put in the effort I had to get dressed up.Staff are friendly but as a server myself, the place is quite unorganized.The only thing about the whole meal that I truly enjoyed was dessert the caramel date cake.Both my date and I were not impressedProbably won't be back

Always a welcoming atmosphere, with a home cooked meal that warms the heart and belly alike. The prime rib is a MUST try! And the sticky date pudding for dessert or the apple pie with a shortbread crust are both a little slice of heaven. Small space, big service.

The four of us reserved the widow table. for 5:30pm. The starter soup was very good and the liver and onions tasted sooo good. The Chicken PENNE and the fish and chips rounded out our order. HEIKE was very good and kept the water glasses filled and engaged us with her cheerful banter.

Just came back from a splendid dinner once again at the Whistle Stop on Beeton. It's been a while since we've been and we both agree to not let as much time go by until the next time. Each and every time we come here we are reminded of what a top notch restaurant should be. The food is delectable, the facility is clean, the staff are friendly and efficient and engaging, and the menu offers choices and price ranges to suit anyone's desire. Best place to eat around here by far!

A group of 12 went for an early Sunday dinner. The choice of entrees and specials was extensive and enough to please any palate. Service was friendly and efficient. The Bruschetta and Sourdough garlic bread were excellent starters....could have made a meal of just that. Everyone enjoyed their chosen entrees. I had the chicken scallopini which was yummy but not the usual pounded breaded thin chicken cutlet. Instead, more like chicken thighs (which are my favourite cut), in a wine sauce. The sticky date pudding in caramel sauce for dessert was soooo good. We will return.

This small and boutique restaurant offers fresh food and a friendly atmosphere. Roast beef is a favorite. The bread offered before dinner is very filling. It's a great location if you have a family or group dinner planned. Always reserve ahead.
