This food truck came highly recommended by a friend and I was blown away by the food that we had. We had the Lángos (kind of like garlic bread but far superior) and the Signature Sandwich.Portions were very generous and the owners are friendly and welcoming. Absolutely will be back next time I drive by and highly recommend you visit too!

Authentic Hungarian! Many in the kawartha area offer schnitzel but none with the full Hungarian experience and proper Hungarian side dishes. Flavour was great and portions are generous. Next time we will be sure to try the goulash. Köszönöm.

My husband and I tried this food truck recently and were very impressed! The menu is small but varied, and not too overwhelming. We had never tried Hungarian food but we enjoyed it! It was really well flavoured, cooked perfectly, and the prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Stopped at the Hungry Hungarian to pick up dinner...Had never stopped there before or tried Hungarian food. I had the Chicken Paprikash and a side of cucumber salad. The chicken was delicious and salad a nice light addition to meal. I will definitely stop in again to try other specialties on the menu. Thanks Denise and Al for a great meal

The Hungry Hungarian is a new food truck that just opened in Bethany, ON. They have the usual burgers, fries, hot dogs and sausage. But the thing you MUST try is their 'Signature Sandwich'!It starts with fresh bread dough... I mean really, really fresh... the lady brought out the flour and started making the dough, amazing! The dough is shaped into pizza-like circles and pan fried golden brown. While that's happening, they prepare and fry up two huge pork schnitzels. When everything is ready, they assemble this massive sandwich topped with their lesco sauce, cheese and sauerkraut. They have other toppings if you want a more traditional schnitzel sandwich. Either way... the sandwich is spectacular!!!Combine that with their fresh cut fries and you're all set!Fantastic and friendly service. Again everything is made fresh so it make take a little while to prepare your order, but the sandwich is worth the wait!

One of the best food truck experiences ive ever had such friendly people and food was out of this world i had the burger which tasted so juicy all the toppings were extremely fresh my boyfriend had the sausage which he said was also amazing we shared the poutine which was also so good massive portion and the gravy was so good will definitely be returning!!
Just stopped by for a quick bite during a road trip and was very pleasantly surprised. Quite a lot better than one would expect expect from a food truck. Both the sausage and their burger were handmade and they were both delicious. The langos buns they made were also amazing. Probably one of the best burgers and sausages I’ve had in a long time. Will try to stop by on the way back and I highly recommend anyone in the area give it a shot as well.
