Strack's Smokin Grill

I was not a fan of this place my review would be really bad. But it's closed now new restaurant opening soon Burketon Bar and Grill new owners can not wait should be open by May

Restaurant was closed when we arrived. They should update Google so people don't drive all the way out there like we did. I've been here before and it's a cool place with great food.

I drove a fair distance to this place as it was recommended to us by some local people. We went as couples. We were not so thrilled as one of the group were big BBQ fans, and meat eaters. A bit slow in service, the waitress was very nice. They were out of a few items we wanted to try, so we got a few freebies in their place. On our side of the table we got a meat platter to share. It all tasted sort of the same. The fries were good. If I am in the neighborhood I would come pack for a poutine, maybe come back to try the wings also. I could see the place could be hit and miss. I am glad I did it. Its hard to be a smaller locally owned joint. If I am in the area I would give it another try.

The waitress was great..felt for her being embarassed telling us they were out of 3/4 of the menu...then getting food that was so burnt it should have never came out of the kitchen..i ordered wings and poutine..wings were soggy and i got about 12 fries and a sprinkle of cheese and gravy..then to be charged 19.99 for the wings then 8.00 for 12 freaking fries was pathetic. Theyve lost a regular customet..ill never recommend the place to anyone..save your travel time and money and find somewhere else to eat..its a waste of time.

While this is a smokehouse, there is so much more. The burgers are amazing, the fries are insane, and prices are reasonable. The staff were wonderful, the animals are cute (Yes, they have animals) so I would rate this five stars.

When you order a ribeye steak and get a tough sirloin it makes it bad. Ribs and brisket saturated in sauce to mask old tough meat. I must say we were very disappointed. Server had a cold, no mask and clearly didn’t matter. We were told the smoked beans were the best only later to be given onion rings because there were no beans? Wouldn’t the server know this. Won’t be back but maybe we hit a bad night.

Many thanks to the great service and warm reception we received at this restaurant.My friend and I were out dirt biking, the rain came out we were soaking wet and cold. The staff at this restaurant welcomed us in, gave us a great meal, and even put our gloves in the dryer to dry.We were very impressed with great hospitality considering we were very wet and dirtyFriendly atmosphere, food was good would recommend to others, we will be returning.

We went here after our apple picking at Archibald’s Farm. The restaurant is a limited seating for indoor dining but they have a patio or outdoor dining that could accommodate larger group. The restaurant has rich history as it used to be a general store. It has that rustic feeling, friendly feeling that makes you want to stay longer especially the food has great selection for There were four of us, my husband and I and our two boys 12 and 17 years of Age. We ordered the Meal Sampler that consist of, Baby Back Ribs, Brisket, Pulled pork and Chicken, slaw and beans. The Meal Sample is good, we are not a big fan of the pulled pork and chicken but we definitely love the Brisket and Back Ribs. We added medium onion rings, we love onion rings and their Nachos, which was fairly big, at least for us four. We end up taking home some of the Nachos and some pulled pork and chicken. If we were to go back we would like to try their smoked chicken wings and will definitely get a separate order of the brisket and ribs.

Always a great stop when we are riding through on trails. Service some times is a little slow but gives us time to relax and chat. Breakfast menu always good. This time we had lunch, burgers are wings nice and the price ain't half bad. Enjoyed the burger ans fries while sitting outside and enjoying the summer day.

If you're looking for solid BBQ meal then look no further! The menu has everything for everyone: chicken, ribs, beef brisket, wings, hush puppies, signature bbq sauce, etc. etc. etc. Can't miss! The place itself has personality with Jack Daniels bottle latern lights, old/new chairs, pipe chandeliers, and even a couch under the back patio - it's pretty cool! Highly recommend you drop by, have a beer and some BBQ! ?

Went to stracks last night for the first time and was blown away!The food speaks for itself, we had the smoked wings (incredible!)But what really made us fall in love was the service, and the atmosphere. Sure, it takes a bit of time to get your food, but if you want fast food, go to McDonald’s.Our drinks were always full and our server constantly checked on us and made wonderful conversation.This is a family run business, and quite frankly, a breath of fresh air in today’s day and age.Thank you to Megan and the rest of the Stracks team for making our visit memorable. We will DEFINITELY see you all again soon!

This place is a hit or miss. Sometimes you can go and the food is great. Other times you go, and the food is horrible. I'm not sure why that is. I guess it depends on who is in the kitchen at the time to cook the food. It takes a very long time for your food to arrive as well. If you want to flip a coin for good or bad service, then give this place a shot. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones..or not.

Loaded potato skins were uncooked. Potato was actually raw and crunchy. Moved on to the brisket, too dry to swallow without a drink. Mac and cheese tasted old, dry and disgusting. Absolutely horrible food. Service was fine, took forever to get our order though. Never returning. Look elsewhere for BBQ

They need help. RIDICULOUS wait time for a take out order. OVER AN HOUR. To top it off, we got someone else's order. Another 20 minute wait and they neglected to give us our coleslaw. No goodwill gesture of a complimentary item to try and impress and make things better. Hospitality lessons for the owner would be wise.

I love the Smoked wings the best..My dog Daisy Mae gets a bowl of ice cream for a treat.Thanks always again Steve
