We needed a place to stay while in blind River for an event. It would be nice if the rooms had a note showing what their wifi password was so we could use it. Had called the office asking for the password just before 9:00am when they come in and unfortunately never got a call back with the information. They post online that they offer discounts but this is not the case. This should be corrected online so people are not mislead. We stayed in one of the rooms at the front of the property so you heard the road traffic all night long. We can not comment on their food as we did not go to the Sports Bar. We did however have breakfast at 17 Restaurant in Blind River which did not disappoint. Thankful we had a place to stay while in town.

I heard that the food is good and the place is really nice. However, I did not have a chance to confirm this information as every time I attempt to go there they are closed for whatever absurd reason. They should probably update their google page.

The resturant is great, big portions, delicious food. Freindly staff. Patio has nice water view. I did not stay in the hotel.

I was passing through my hometown and decided to stop in and bring my long time friend out for dinner at the Pier as I had been there a few years ago and the service, food and view was amazing. This visit on August 2025 under new ownership, we ordered drinks, an appetizer and main dishes. We got the appetizer fast enough but then the waitress never came back to check on us. I had to call for her then asked where our food was as now it had been an hour and a half that we placed our order. She blamed the delay on the appetizer saying it showed the cook down. When we didn't accept that as an excuse, she blamed it on the large group that had just walked through the door. When we ordered, there was only three tables used by customers. I've never waited that long before in a restaurant. Not any city or small town I've been to where this was acceptable as service

There needs to be more allergy training. Was serverly glutened. Staff seemed careless. Verified numerous times that what i ordered was gluten free however that wasn’t the case. I was SEVERLY ill after eating here.

Seat yourself, sat ourselves...10 minutes until someone came and told us that the food order would take an hour and half.
Didn't stay.

We stopped at the restaurant for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the food! Our servers were so friendly and very helpful. My teens are hard to please and all three loved their food!

We had dinner here on a Monday night and were very impressed with the staff, and service.
We came in around 7:30pm (the restaurant closes at 9) staff warned us that they had some large groups and we would have to wait over a hour for our food.
We didn’t mind, put in our drink order and ordered our food and began our wait.
We were 4 and had lots to talk about, so the time was moving fast.
Two servers were tending to us, helped us with a set up an umbrella as we were sitting outdoors on the beautiful deck overlooking the water.
Within minutes our drinks arrived
Less than 30 minutes our shareable appetizers were served and about 10 minutes later our meals were served

It was much less time than we had been warned. The food was very good and exactly what we ordered

I would definitely recommend going back here

We were excited to try this restaurant on our way to Sault Ste Marie with our kids. It was terrible we waited over 45 minutes for food and it still was not near ready. We paid for our drinks and left.

Best eat in dining experience in the area by far. Their fresh and crispy pier fish , butter chicken poutine and quesadilla and spinach dip ALLL awesome. Very well priced for the high quality and especially quantity.
