Had a great lunch on our drive through to Sault Ste Marie. Was so happy to find so many gluten free options that are homemade! We had the crispy bbq club wrap and it was delicious. We chatted with the owner and she is very knowledgeable about cross contamination which we really appreciated. Cute and cozy atmosphere, lots of sunlight and plants! Really surprised to find this gem in Blind River. We will be back for sure!

I haven't stopped thinking about my experience at Rusties's Family Restaurant in Blind River, Canada. For starters the owner Rustie is pehaps the most welcoming human I have ever met, excluding my late mother. Now add world class dishes rarely found anywhere...for example PELMENI (yes the Ukranian dish Pelmeni)! My grandmother was Ukranian and made me pelmeni as a kid at her home on Petero Hill in San Francisco in the 1950s and 60s. This Pelemeni version was made by the chef when he was dating a Ukranian and trying to win her heart over. Well...he did not get girl but he has a winning dish. Go out of your way to dine here and meet Rustie.

The food was amazing, so good. The host Noreen is a super lady, so nice and accommodating and the atmosphere so cozy and welcoming. Definitely worth visiting!

great food for great prices we sure had a friendly bunch serving us and the people other customers all chat together really made us feel welcome we will return then we proceeed to out rooms of motel motel not so grate we had bright light shining our room most of night from off of motel roof
