Bloomfield Public House

A wonderful restaurant with great ambiance and creative dishes made from locally sourced and very flavorful ingredients. My wife and I shared 4 starters as our meal and it was wonderful. It allowed us to enjoy vegetable dishes we had never seen on menus before. It was a refined and very affordable meal considering the level of quality and culinary refinement. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Everything about this place is awesome. The food is unbelievably good. Rotating menu focusing on local ingredients. Lovely, friendly staff - all of them - front and back of house (sit at the bar and see!). Great atmosphere. Dont miss this one.

This is truly a Prince Edward County Gem at first glance when you walk in you might doubt this review based onthe size of the restaurant and the seating but hold on to your hat as you will be pleasently surprised - If you are in The County this is a must try.
From the service, to the food and even the pricing, all was fantastic. Every dish was hand crafted to perfection and the flavours were well balanced yet thoughtfully created. The chef is brilliant with his food selections, locally sourced and made with love.

A must visit! We did a walk-in and it was no problem. Have been back several times. Menu changes regularly - fresh and in-season. Food is excellent. Amazing vibe. Owners are right there with you. Very authentic. And one of the best desserts I’ve ever had.

Wonderful dinner at Bloomfield Public House! The octopus was amazing - the best we've ever had, and the steak frites perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great experience!

New restaurant in town. Another upscale entry into the Bloomfield restaurant scene. Very knowledgeable staff. Eat at the bar and watch the chef's at work. Food is creative and interesting.So sad to see it go.

Tried Duck for the first time based on their recommendations. It was great. Very cozy. Great atmosphere. I remember when the building was a bank.

Amazing food, great vibe, friendly service. Great spot to hit up if you’re in PEC. Make a reservation before going, the place is rather small and fills up really fast. Lastly, the sourdough bread and the whipped butter is a must!!!

We cycled to The Public House for a coffee and sourdough bread both of which we bought. The coffee was weak and tasteless so I approached the server and asked if I could have a stronger brew. unfortunately her response was utter disinterest and basically said this is how it is. There was no attempt to ask if there was something else I wanted to buy or to offer a refund.
Too bad, cos the bread is delicious.
