THE BEST place to feel like you are home for a special meal!!!

Terrible experience. A $200+ bill for 3 people, a bad meal, unkind staff, all in a shack on the side of the road with decor seemingly chosen by a chimp let loose in the dollar store.
Save yourself being verbally accosted by staff over easily resolved concerns, and go to Bocado in Picton for better ambiance and service, for the same price tag.
Our waitress (Stevie from Schitt’s Creek?) refused to serve us their ‘special’ pasta alongside our meal, simply because the chef ‘didn’t feel it should be served to go.’ Along with that, we were not allowed to order starters first and mains after, apparently because the kitchen staff is incapable of dealing with serving entrees after starters.
The calamari was overcooked, rubbery, and completely soaked in sauce. The Caesar salad was both plain and strangely soggy. A premade kit from Sobey’s would’ve been more satisfying. The pizza took forever and tasted like pure salt.
When bringing any of these issues to the attention of our waitress, her story about the non-takeout varietal of pasta suddenly changed to that “the last portion was sold to another table”. She managed to take zero accountability for any of our concerns, while also making it our fault. Quite obviously, we should have asked to pay $20 for bread to soak up the calamari sauce.
Despite our waitress speaking to the owner about our concerns, no senior staff, management, or ownership came to the table to resolve any issues, or provide any sort of compensation for our concerns.
To top it off, after taking our pizza to go and settling the bill, we noticed that we were conveniently double charged for the bottle of wine. Tried to call back to let the owner know about the extra charge, but unsurprisingly, there is no way to contact a real human on the phone. Luckily, you can spend 15 minutes on the phone with a tacky western AI-voice.

Tried to order online. Only 2 per pizzas for order limit? What?
Amazing food with shockingly generous portion sizes given the high quality. Drinks and dessert were also fantastic.

Favourite place in the county for pizza. Staff friendly. A place where the kids like the food and we have adult dining choices that are amazing.

Have eaten here multiple times and always leave happy! The food is delicious and lots of dishes are family style so good for sharing. Pizzas, pastas, salads, so good and high quality. Service is always great. The atmosphere is great. Fun in the summer and winter. Definitely a must visit!
We ordered takeout for our family Christmas gathering to feed 13 people, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. I worked with Summer ahead of time to make sure we ordered enough food, and she was incredibly helpful.
We picked everything up at our 5:30 p.m., and all of the dishes were freshly prepared—hot, delicious, and just as good as when we dine in the restaurant. Our whole family loved every dish, and it may have just become our new pre-Christmas tradition.
Thank you again, Darlings, for accommodating such a large to-go order. We truly appreciate it!

Favourite spot in the county for dinner. Every dish is a knockout - especially the chicken parm. I dream of it. Also get stracciatella on your pizza! Dessert special is always amazing too. Great, relaxed service and nice selection of wines. If you have a child bring your own high hair as they don’t have any fyi.

A very cute cozy dinner spot. Our group shared so much amazing stuff, each dish was excellent including the arancini! Pizzas are very large and delicious!

Waited 1.5 hrs for our pizza, which was decent but definitely not worth the wait or price (you have to pay to add toppings on top of the basic meat and cheese so was about $40 when all was said and done). We also had the tossed salad and calamari both of which were just decent. Overall found the restaurant overpriced and overhyped. With so many other great restaurants in the county we probably wouldn't visit again.

Restaurantji Recommends
We visit The County very frequently as we live just outside of it, and we’ve tried many different restaurants over the years — this was by far the best food we’ve had. Everything we ordered was incredible. The experience and environment were both great as well. Our server was also amazing- one of the best we’ve had in a while.
Amazing food, friendly service, and definitely our new favourite restaurant.
Highly recommend!

Absolutely LOVED this spot, will definitely be returning whenever we are in the area. Cozy place with great ambience, totally not what you would expect from the outside. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was some of the best Italian we’ve had! Pizza takes a long time to come out but they do warn us and it was SO worth it.

Very good service, friendly wait staff. Excellent thin crust pizza. We are inside with a view of the meadows to the south.
