This is our second stay at the Empress Inn and Suite. We finally found the perfect place to fully enjoy Sandbanks. My family and I find the room spacious for 4 people. The room is clean, large and functional! We are very happy to be able to shower and sleep in a comfortable bed after a day at the beach. We also like to have a little drink on the terrace at the end of the day!
Nearby activities: The small shops in the village of Bloomfield, the proximity to the village of Wellington (restaurant, the park❤️, the fort) The Local Store is worth a visit to discover local artisans and the Sandbanks beaches are less than 10 minutes away.

For our little mini-get away we stayed here. Exceptionally clean room, all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Kleenex, extra tp, fast internet ( we even streamed movies on our laptop), All the bath towels were in important sizes ( 2 big ones, 2 hand towels, and 2 face clothes), soap, & even shampoo. A convenient coffee pot and coffee in the room.
The host was a lovely gal that was super helpful and got us settled in comfortably.
Our bed was the perfect balance of firm yet soft.
We stayed 2 nights and checking out was super easy.
Price was very agreeable, considering this is the high season. If I could give more stars I would.
Rooms: Room was cozy and full of amenities to make our stay pleasant.
Nearby activities: Links up to the Millennium Trail- so a nice little walk in the morning was great!
Walkability: With in 10 minute walk to town. Safe and pretty area.

I have not stayed here, but have been into the Bistro a couple times. Sabrina is so wonderful, always friendly, makes an effort to remember your name and certainly remembers your face. She always lets me taste my latte before I leave to make sure it’s how I want it. Tried food for the first time today and oh my GOODNESS the chicken club was incredible. Amazing taste, perfect bread, the chicken is actual chicken and not pre-packaged sliced stuff. It was so delicious.

Had a great stay with Sabrina as our Host. Great Room, very accommodating in terms of any needs that we had, great recommendations of things to do and places in the area. We stayed in the pillow talk suite and The room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Would reccomend to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay.

We highly recommend Empire Suites. We recently stayed for 1 night and found the room to be spacious, very clean and perfect for our needs. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely stay here. We were in a 2 bedroom suite. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed.

Her Majesty Suite is beautiful, clean and really comfortable. The location is really quiet and close to Picton. We will definitely come back.
My husband and I brought our dog along for a quick trip to the Picton area. Thanks to Sabrina and her kind hospitality, we enjoyed a lovely stay at the Empire Suites. We highly recommend her location and we suggest bring your work out gear, Sabrina is a personal trainer, too!
