We’ve visited Matron’s twice in the last 12 months. Both times we have been pleased with the beer, quiet location, atmosphere and friendly beer cats!
Would highly recommend visiting this place at sunset relax and enjoy some very nice cold beer.
Room for improvements; they could definitely show a little more pride in their gardens and grounds. The atmosphere is rustic, homely and welcoming but keeping the outside as neat and tidy as it is inside would definitely improve the overall experience.

This was a pretty cute brewery away from the city. The patio was very relaxing with cool music and nice weather. I liked the taste of the beer, and Janky was their top pick. It was a great time overall.

Rustic style building makes this micro brewery very cool. Corrugated metal and ruff cut lumber give character and warmth adds to the refreshing style beer. Ps two cats own the place.

We were cycling through the county on a week long bike trip and visited matron just in time to wait out a downpour and have a beer. The kind man who served us (didn't get his name) let us hang a bit past closing while it poured and chatted with us for a little while. Since it was a random Tuesday, most places to eat were closed. This guy called around different places until he ensured that we had a table waiting for us (down the road at Darlings, amazing pizza!) and could get a hot meal in us before finishing an 80km day and setting up camp. The beer was delicious and the premises were really cool, but the thoughtfulness and hospitality absolutely saved our bacon after a long rainy day on our bikes. We enjoyed more of Matron's beers at various stops around our county trip, and we'll be in the lookout for more at the LC back home! Thank you again, unknown trail angel beer man!

Matron IS THE BEST. The outdoor seating space is so nice on a sunny day but inside is also such a vibe. Drinks are great (they have a few non beer options) and the food menu is perfect brewery food. Love the staff!! Great merch!! 100% worth a visit.
