Café: This café is just amazing. True home cooked food for breakfast and lunch. I had the best grilled cheese (one of my favourites ever) and a cup of mushroom soup. The food was all delicious. The cafe is run by Susan and her crew! They were so busy the day we were there but kept churning out food. Susan is cook and host and greets all guests like long lost family. This café is a well priced local gem and is ideal for breakfast, lunch, or even a homemade pastry.

Just awesome food! The owner was fun and welcoming, the waitress was a ray of sunshine , and if you like homemade hot sauce Leah makes that with a lot of love! A must do in PEC!!!!!

An extremely cute and quaint cafe with outstanding staff and food. It’s small so there may be a slight wait. But the wait was worth it. High marks all around. And again staff is outstanding.

Can’t speak for the rooms as we were there for lunch inside the cafe. It was wonderful. We loved the choice of homemade soups and served in vintage tea cups. We tasted all 3 and we only had rave reviews. My beet, apple and ginger cream was outstanding. We also ate the chicken pot pie, the quiche and the house salad with tuna (apparently the best she’s had). Love the smell of baked good as you walk in. Decor and ambiance are very original and inviting. A+

This is a little gem of a café. It's a bit hidden from the street, but when you get in you'll find a cozy little place. It was raining so we didn't use the outside patio.

The food was freshly made, and we had a great chat with the owner and the staff.

Great food and great stories from the people inside. Highly recommended.

I just experienced an unsettling situation in the cafe. A little toddler turned the lock in the front door (it was eye level for him). When his mother went to leave, after buying a coffee, the door was locked. When she tried to open it, the whole locking mechanism fell off. The owner started yelling at her and shouting at the little boy and calling him a horrible child. The owner's son tried to intervene but this psycho owner wouldn't stop her rant on a toddler. Wow! Pretty awful. Don't go to this place!

Stayed here for an anniversary and couldn't have chosen a better spot in The county. Lovely area, amazing & friendly hosts. Breakfast and baked goods are fantastic too.

Beautiful gardens and birds serenading you while you gave an exquisite lunch. It's worth the stop in Bloomfield.

The on line menue indicates $17 for most lunch items but when you arrive its $19. Also the roaming dog is a no no according to health Canada, this has to be stopped.

Breakfast at the Cafe was a delight. Fluffy, delicious omelette, with a generous serving of home fries and thick cut toast. Friendly server and the feeling like you're a family friend. Recommended!

Is this place under new management?

We used to love eating here but this most recent visit will be the last. Prices have raised and are now on par with many local fine dining restaurants but the food is on par w the takeaway counter at our local grocery store.

19$ salad… scoop of your choice of egg/chicken/canned tuna/salmon salad on field greens with a hint of shredded carrot and a few tiny cubes of cucumber. Slice of strawberry for garnish, and two round crackers on the side 😳 barely enough dressing (served on the side in a shallow ramekin that ‘might’ hold a pat of butter) to cover half the salad. Previous visits the salads were at a lower price as well as full of fruit, veg and nuts plus the scoop of protein.

$3 glass of lemonade was served in a small half pint glass and only filled halfway. Had to ask for more ice to stretch it into something. Nothing special, premade.

Chicken Sandwich was equally disappointing. Side of coleslaw was less than a 1/4 cup serving smeared out on the plate perhaps to appear more substantial. Again, nothing special to warrant the increase in pricing.

For the same price point do yourself a favor and go somewhere that values return patronage.
