Nice variety of specials, including 3 pasta and 3 others. Dave was our waiter, and he was a treat. He answered all of our tricky questions and kept us well entertained in addition to the usual waiterly duties. The House Italian Cab-Merlot was exceptionally good. It was busy that night (Friday about 7) but everything came out quickly, including the antipasto platter which was simple but very tasty.

Dear Amici Team,
I am writing to share feedback on a disappointing experience I had at your restaurant on August 24th, 2025, when I visited to celebrate my anniversary. I had chosen your restaurant because of its strong reputation, but unfortunately, the evening fell short of expectations.
After being seated, it was at least 15 minutes before we were offered water, and another 10–15 minutes passed before we placed our order. Our appetizer, the mussels, arrived cold and without any broth to dip in, which was surprising for such a dish.
For my entrée, I ordered the gnocchi, which was dry, crusted on the surface, and presented with sauce sloshed to one side of the plate, without any garnish. Hoping to end the meal on a better note, I ordered tiramisu to go, but the dessert was small, poorly packaged, and did not redeem the evening. I will include photo below.
In total, I spent around $110 (including tip), but I left feeling very disappointed, especially given that this was meant to be a special occasion. While I don not reside in Bobcaygeon, I would greatly appreciate reimbursement or another form of resolution, as this experience was not reflective of the quality I expected from your establishment.

We had a larger party in for dinner. The waiter did a great job of keeping track of the orders and giving everyone lots of time. The food was good and pasta had a some good variety.

I went here for dinner last week and had to come back to post a review today.
First off the service is so great! The staff are so welcoming and you feel like they really enjoy working there. Kayley (sorry if I spelt it wrong!) was our server and I would go back just for her!
As for the food, I ordered the Bruschetta with Avocado and Goat Cheese because it’s different and it really blew me away! I also had the Tuscan Kale salad and the Lobster Dinner special and both were great!
I highly recommend this spot next time you’re in Bobcaygen or the Kawarthas!

Not my family’s best experience. We booked a reservation at Amici pasta bar for one of our final days up at the cottage for the summer. It was a let down in a few categories. One the drinks were heavenly under poured and this was compensated with a lot of ice used. Second we ordered the burrata special which came with cherry tomatoes and arugula for $25. What we got was as 3 cherry tomatoes sliced in half, a handful of arugula on the plate and a pre sliced half of burrata with none of the creamy inside remaining! This alone was a complete rip off! Next our mains had a few problems. All were heavily under seasoned and bland. Finally the pasta noodle you are told you would be getting was false. My wife was supposed to get fettuccine but got spaghetti. This is not a huge deal, but it makes you think that the pasta is not being cooked to order and since they had spaghetti cooked they just used that and were cheap.
Overall this was a very terrible experience for us and we would not recommend. It is an over priced place trying to rip off people coming up to enjoy thwir summers at their cottages.

Food was good! Portions of protein were very small. My wife asked for chicken to be added to her ravioli and there was like 4 small pieces. Server sat at the bar beside us venting to a friend or coworker the entire time we ate, was a little disappointing. Took her a long time to get our empty dishes and ask for dessert/bill.
We walked into this restaurant with our kids, excited for a nice meal, but were immediately asked to keep them quiet before we were even seated. There were only two other people in the entire restaurant, yet staff repeated the request shortly after, making us feel incredibly unwelcome. The tone was rude and uncalled for. Reviewing other previous reviews confirms others feeling the same. We left without ordering. Not a family-friendly place at all.

The burgers were dry and the portions were really small. We expected more robust juicy burgers but they were dry and overcooked. The pasta dish that my friend ordered looked delicious but again was so small. The server was very pleasant but she seemed to have a lot to manage. The food took a long time to come out.
