A straightforward fish and chip shop - you know what you're getting. The food was good (oil used was fresh) and priced within range. Service was good. I'd go back again if I get a hankering.

I got 2 pieces haddock with fish and salad for less than $30 and i even got tarter sauce for home for the fish i couldn't finish. Great prices with amazing portions will definitely be back again!!

Vegetarian options: Thee salad's are delicious

Dietary restrictions: They have plenty of options if you don't feel like fish. My friend got a burger.

Parking: The entire parking lot was empty other than the vehicles parked eating at captain's George's and the place is packed with patron's eating.

Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs for babies.

The owners are attentive. Checked just often enough to see if everything was fine. Some places don't strike the right balance. Either feel you're being ignored or interrupted too often.

Great spot. Love their fish & chips.Having worked in food industry many years ago I know it’s hard to get things right all the time. Recently I made a purchase at Captain George’s and a part of my take out order was missed. I don’t live far and didn’t mind returning to retrieve what was missing. Despite my objection, the management insisted on throwing in a drink with my meal and gave me a $10 gift certificate for my next meal. That’s exceptional customer service. I would give 6 stars if I could.

We have eaten here twice now it’s the best fish and chips I have ever had. Everything was fresh perfectly done. The batter was light crispy not overly greasy and the fries were fresh and perfect. The service is great and first time we went was a slower night and the chef I suspect owner came out to ask how our meal was. We have been to another local Captain George’s and had the exact opposite experience. Defintatly our go to spot for F&C from now on.

Sharing my experience still would not give the praise this place deserves.. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with such amazing customer service. Then when you place your order. The freshest meal comes to you. Cooked perfectly with the most amazing flavor. I cannot stress enough if you have not tried this location for fish-and-chips. Or shrimp or anything else that's on the menu, including the most amazing coleslaw. Give it a try people. You will not be disappointed.

There was a very clean and bright atmosphere. For the time of day, Captain George's was steady with business. The service was friendly and very attentive. We tried from their Light/ Seniors menu and it was the perfect size to curb our lunch time hunger. The fish was lightly battered and not greasy. The tatar sauce and coleslaw was tasty and seemed to be homemade as well. All in all, it was a very nice dine in experience and we will certainly be back.
