It's okay. Yummy Kawartha dairy ice cream always but everytime I go they're always out of something that I want which is disappointing. The 2 teen boys that serve and run cash sometimes really need to work on their customer service skills.

Let me start that the employees are nice and quick, however I find it frustrating that 2 weeks in a row now that the debit machine has not been charged and cash is the only option.

Last week we were notified upfront. Tonight I picked up the bill for my friends despite not getting ice cream myself....but the lady behind us who did not have cash was able to leave with her items and not paying .... a thank you from the employees for stepping up would have been nice seeing as if I said nothing then they also would have received free product.

We are huge fans of EGS, we go weekly. This afternoon our portions were half the usual size. Not sure what’s happened there. Hope it was a one time occurrence.

My husband and I visited for the first time yesterday July 2, 2024. The 2 teenage boys were incredible, very pleasant and courteous. Ice cream was typical Enniskillen (Kawartha) top notch quality. We will be back.

This was our first visit, and the place is full of charm and history, having been established in 1840. I’ll definitely be returning. They offer a fantastic selection of ice cream, with even the baby-sized scoop being quite generous. The service was excellent, and the store was bustling with activity.

It's a great spot to stop for ice cream with friends or family, conveniently located for easy access and open for a good time!

Given its prime location in the town, I can see myself coming here often. It’s definitely worth a drive for a sweet treat on a warm day!

Hello to all who come across this review, especially the owner or manager of this establishment. Please do not listen to Thalea Rubio Naranjos review. She was being super rude to the employees who were just trying there hardest. The man literally had a broken arm. There was only two of them and it was lined up out the door. She might as well give herself a one star review as a human being for having no respect for service workers just trying to do there job. Other than that nice establishment.

Okay so Sabna Selvi Rubio-Naranjo basically is just talking trash but she's lying. I read her review and released it was the woman behind me the other night based on the info. She was Hella rude and the workers were doing their best. It was very busy, way too many people for only 2 workers to deal with but they were trying. The boy scooping the ice-cream had a broken arm and was truly trying his best even tho you could tell he was having a hard time, he was still kind and doing his job just fine. This Sabna chick just wants to complain. The place was fine, clean and the workers were friendly even when it was way too busy for them to keep up with, they tried their best. Also it was 5 minutes before closing when this happened so the guy literally had to get the ice cream from the back so ofc it was a little melted, if you want a better experience maybe go at a normal damn time instead of closing. And stop lying too.

This is my family's 2nd visit since the new location opened. A huge contrast from this shop to the previous location. Sadly disappointed. Cost of little baby single scoop has risen - 2 for $13??? It's just ice cream! Store was super hot, some ice creams were melting in the tubs. Server was not happy or pleasant, he was slopping the scoops into the cup not even bothering to scoop them into balls. It was sloppy messy service and grosd presentation; ice cream looked like puke in a cup dripping all around the cup and he wouldn't give us napkins to wipe the sides. I picked up my cup off the counter and it was so poorly dumped in the cup that it was dripping and melting on counter and floor. I ended up leaving it bc it was so disgusting to look at let alone digest. The female cashier wasn't any better with her service nor seemed to care about the customer experience. And this same cashier tried charging me $13 for a rootbeer float on my 1st visit! According to her the price on the board was for the cup of ice cream and I had to pay separately for the pop to go in my float!!! What??? I've never heard of such nonsense! Very noticeable diff and experience from previous location's ownership/management and employees/customer service. Sadly we will need to find a new ice cream spot for our family summer evening sweet cravings ? because we definitely don't feel welcome here; maybe bc it's the colour of our skin....
