When I went to go into the restaurant the employees were standing at the doorway smoking cannabis even though the law states they need to be a minimum of 3 metres away from the entrance of the restaurant. Not a good look for a restaurant and why wouldn’t the employees use the back entrance to smoke? They have great food but not everyone wants to walk-in while employees are smoking anything.

I’ve been to the I Greek in Oshawa when it was open and today I tried the OG I Greek in Bowmanville. The food was amazing. I got the chicken souvlaki dinner. I swear they make the best Greek potatoes in Durham region. I will definitely be returning!

Food was absolutely disgusting! Rice was uncooked and tasted gross. The tomatoes were soaked in vinegar and was super soggy. I’ll never eat here again and definitely would never recommend this place.

Take out only and ventilation inside is not great. I suggest Uber eats or skip the dishes. Ordered the pork souvlaki. Pricing is reasonable for what you get, includes rice, potatoes, salad and your protein.

Food isn't greek at all first the salad dressing for greek salad was so nasty I didnt make it 5 mins without vomiting as for the soggy soft rice was so bad and the chicken was so so but to say this is greek food is ashame for sure was not able to get a picture of the sampler which was m&m heated roll up spanokopita and feta Phyllio and trust me meat balls seen better days was definitely not fresh I an my family wont ever be back worse taste in mouth ever my 3 year old got sick as well as me an my hubby within minutes after eating and was recommend from greek family to try it so can see if was good before they do will tell them not to try it either

My husband and I hired IGreek for a large catering order for 100 people this weekend. Brandon was my contact throughout the ordering process and was wonderful to deal with. Brandon was honest with me about the fact that I was ordering too much food and helped me reshape my order to an appropriate size. I really appreciated his transparency. The service was wonderful. Food was fresh, hot and ready right on time! Our guests enjoyed the meal and the portion sizes did not disappoint! Thank you so much Brandon, and for everyone who helped put our order together. Worst greek food I've ever had. The meat is tasteless, rice is watery, and everything is way too salty. Salad is almost all lettuce. Way too pricy and food is not even good. Disappointed.

I was excited to try this place, but the person handling the food wasn’t wearing gloves and looked untidy. As a breastfeeding mom, I take hygiene seriously and didn’t feel safe eating here. The food looked unappetizing .. soggy potatoes, cold chicken and rice. I ended up throwing it away. Total waste of money. Hygiene and presentation are incredibly important, and sadly, this place fell short on both. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make improvements. Never again!
Whenever I have a free moment in Bowmanville and am hungry, I stop and grab somethi g from i-Greek. The people are super friendly and courteous, the food is awesome and the prices are good especially for what you get. I usually grab a sampler... give this place a try.
