Junior's Handmade Sourdough Pizza

The sourdough crust has an amazing, slightly chewy texture, and the pizza sauce is flavourful! I would recommend ordering ahead and picking up, the pizzas usually take about 20-30 mins.

I placed an order last week for a pizza with light sauce and double bacon. There was way too much sauce for a light sauced pizza that it was poking through the cheese, and very heavy around the crust. There was not even enough bacon to be considered normal bacon, let alone.. double. I would gladly pay extra for double bacon because when I order I want what I ask for. Considering bacon is the only topping we wanted on the pizza, you may as well of called it a cheese pizza.

I know this is a staple of Bowmanville but considering the mass amount of competition around it’s highly disappointing to have a sup par pizza (when it’s usually great) at a premium price.

Just moved to Bowmanville and gave this place a try. I will 100% be going back. The pizza was incredible. Fresh ingredients, delicious pizza, ready in 15 minutes. The service was amazing and they even gave me a free house made garlic sauce. Absolutely recommend.

I ordered the Famous Dill Pizza this past Friday night. I placed an order for pick up at 7:25 pm and arrived at that time, to find my pizza was cooked, boxed and ready to go. The pizza was deeeeeelicious just like it was the other two times I've had it.

Customer service was excellent, despite a busy night and lots of orders, my pizza was served with kindness and a smile.

I will definitely recommend it to others and I will definitely order again.

I have to start by saying that I’ve been wanting pizza for weeks now and went on a road trip shopping in toronto over the weekend and told my daughter to find a pizza place. She said this place has sourdough pizza and I’m like WHAT THE HECK say less and off we go on this little adventure…even though we had to back track, because we were eastbound on the 401 and I can’t even say how great this place is from the staff to the food and everything in between. It felt like I was meant to have this and I do love my sourdough….this was ridiculously awesome and the dipping sauce “pineapple habanero” I believe it was, just took it up another level. I haven’t had anything like this before and it’s definitely worth stopping by to try and the workers were so nice and pleasant to talk too and to end the day with this, just made it a perfect day. Go and check them out and I had gotten the LG meat pizza😊 delicious.

Awesome tasting pizza is really good for me considering I have type 2 diabetes , the only type of pizza dough I can eat is sourdough.

Heard how highly people have spoken about Junior’s sourdough so we all were excited to try it. We ordered 5 Large pizzas and everyone had the same review…. “That pizza sucked.” For starters, the portions are extremely small for what you are paying for, 10 slices for almost $30 is ridiculous. To not drag this review on, I’ll only talk about my pizza, the Pineapple Jerk chicken with banana peppers. Crust was undercooked and chewy but the top was well done, barely any cheese, toppings, or sauce and absolutely no flavour… even the banana peppers were bland. Like eating cardboard with a couple banana peppers on it. In all fairness to Junior he gave us a free bottle of dip to help choke it down & the jalapeno popper pizza (2 slices in photo) was actually nice but didn’t taste like jalapeno poppers, just cream cheese, but at least it had flavour. All in all, maybe it was an off night, but from my first impression I would definitely not be coming back to spend my hard earned money here.
