Decent food, decent cashier but the gentlemen who handed me my order today, had a very poor attitude. The service was not adequate to Mary Browns standards, as well as the employee in question would not stop scowling out into the lobby.

Always have decent service and food at this location. My only gripe is the tater peices themselves seem to be getting larger and larger. Almost like they are just cutting potatoes in half and thats it. Personally I enjoy them abit smaller as they are more crispy that way.

Best chicken joint in Bowmanville, honestly. Blows KFC out of the water in quality, portions, taste etc. Great service, decent prices. Eat here all the time - strongly recommended. <3
Worst Mary browns to visit. Last time we had a big Mary, the bun was moldy and nothing was done when I called the store. Today, my husbands big Mary had a bread bag clip in the sandwich. He literally bit into it. Our chicken tenders were so tough and inedible. Worst chicken ever. Don’t waste your money.

Stopped in around 8:30 pm on October 18th, 2025. Ordered the Batter's Box, which includes 6 pieces of chicken, medium taters, medium gravy, and two biscuits. Came to $25.00. Upon arriving home with my order, I opened the box it came in and discovered there was no chicken breast. While I did not specifically ask for one, I assumed that with a 6-piece chicken order that they would include ONE chicken breast. So thoroughly disgusted with their stinginess, I closed the box, walked everything from my order outside and threw it in my condo's garbage bin without eating one bite. Twenty-five dollars down the drain. Needless to say, I will not be eating, nor ordering from, Mary Brown's ever again. With only twenty years or so of life left to me, I don't think this will be a difficult decision to stick to.
