I haven’t been to a Mr Sub in forever. There’s a subway near me so I always go there. Today I decided to go out of my way to the Mr Sub downtown Bowmanville and my daughter and I were so glad we did. I’ll gladly go out of my way to come to Mr Sub from now on.

This location in Bowmanville particularly is the top-notch location! I only visit this spot because their ingredients are always fresh, and the subs are ALWAYS made to perfection. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, especially a tall young man who works there—he provides the best service I've ever seen in a worker in my life. This guy truly deserves the recognition!!!
Whether it's a quick lunch or a leisurely meal, this Mr. Sub never disappoints. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a consistently great sub experience!!

I went in at about 3 pm on friday, march 28th. Unfortunately, i forgot the name of the young man who greeted me and served me, but management should be proud. He was respectful, attentive, and overall a joy to speak to, hands down the best service I have received in years. I will be back soon because my overall experience was amazing. The food was really good, but the service was impeccable due to the gentleman working. It's not easy dealing with people daily, so great workers like him are hard to find. I appreciate the quality of service i received & we will be back very soon!

Took a chance on Mr. Sub and it was a miss.
The disappointment comes from the quality of the food and not the service because the service I received was excellent.
But excellent service does not make up for the fact that the sandwiches ordered were bland and tasteless.
I have a real genuine question to ask Mr. Sub and that question is what brand of mustard do you use to top your sandwiches?
Whatever brand it is it was absolutely tasteless. I had to take a bottle of mustard from my fridge and add more to taste it.
A more serious complaint I have is in regards to the salt level of your food. Way too salty. I'm a big salt my foods guy and I was having a hard time getting past the salt on my sandwich.
Why do fast food sandwich shops produce taste like nothing? It can't just be me.
To summarize excellent service but terrible sandwich taste.

Ordered roast beef as I do frequently and brought home. Put in microwave as normal and went to washroom. Came back to large fire in microwave. Grabbed tongs and moved to kitchen sink pouring water on sub. Opened to find wrapped in foil. Not normal. Burned taste and terrible. Always do this??????

the employee with glasses is rude not only to coustomers but fellow business partners and her fellow employees.
This is the best store in bowmanville by far, it only gets such a low review due to the young man who works there is so stingy with topings when I asked for green olives on my sub I noticed him counting each individual green olive he put on when I asked him if he was counting he said yes he was I got 11 green olives on my sub I try to go when the young lady is in she makes a proper sub and gives the perfect amount of toppings

My experience was very good at this location. Ingredients taste very good! Havent had tomatoes with this much flavour in a while. Place was obviously in prestine condition. But typical mr sub atmosphere nothing too exciting. I usually get multigrain seafood CLT with sub sauce, mayo and grilled to perfection! If you know how to eat then come here youll definetly enjoy the fresh ingredients!
