Terrible Experience – Not Going Back
I visited the Pizza Nova on Highway 2 in Bowmanville and had a really disappointing experience — not just once, but twice.
The first time I went, they gave me a burned slice of pizza, and when I mentioned it, the employee was rude and dismissive instead of offering to fix the issue.
I gave them another chance and went back recently, asking for 3 slices of cheese pizza. They only had 2 left, and I asked politely if they could make just one more. They refused, saying they couldn’t make a single slice until “their timing was done.” That explanation made no sense, and again, the staff were rude and unprofessional.
For a place that specializes in pizza, you’d expect them to be a bit more accommodating — or at least respectful. I won’t be returning to this location. Really disappointed with the quality of food and customer service.

We hadn't had food from Pizza Nova in a very long time. A week or do ago we ordered pizza and wings. The pizza was quite good, and the wings were top notch. I was also pleasantly surprised when I received a voicemail a few days ago, that was a check in courtesy call. IMPRESSED! Pizza Nova Bowmanville, we'll be ordering again.

Owner was so genuine and gracious. He served everyone with a smile made the experience so memorable. Pizza is pizza but when the person who serves you does it with fantastic customer service even though its just a $20/$25 meal , it makes the pizza taste that much better.

Super nice and friendly staff/service but too bad the pizza tasted like cardboard. The bottom was burnt, it was barely edible. Unfortunately this isn't the first time I have been disappointed by this location but I keep going back because of the service and hoping they improve their pizza but sadly, it was not the case again this evening.

Sadly, we were so hungry that I forgot to take pictures. We ordered 2 mediums on Christmas Eve. They were ready at the time given online and were piping hot. I will say not every time is this good, but whoever was working that day did a great job. Thanks again!
