The coffee was just okay, I’ve definitely had better. The décor is cute, but the staff felt a bit lukewarm. What really surprised me, though, is the lack of basic café essential. A good café should function as an inviting third space for light work or studying, but there are no outlets and no public Wi-Fi. So unless you’re coming with a fully charged device and your own hotspot, you’re out of luck. At nearly $8 a latte, skipping something as standard as Wi-Fi feels like a pretty big oversight.

The perfect one stop shop for your coffee/sweet treat fix and a place to support local small businesses! My one girlfriend and I stopped in here on a whim this weekend and the staff were so lovely. The drinks alone knocked our experience out of the park! Plus in the back they have a massive space where you can explore and shop goods from local makers. I especially LOVE their instagram presence where they highlight other local businesses in the historic downtown Bowmanville and bring awareness to things happening in the community. It truly speaks volumes to who they are and what they stand for! So if you’re ever in need of a caffeine fix and have a case of the shoppies, 1000% swing by Roam Coffee!

Love this place. Coffee is awesome not to mention their matchas as well. Coffee is perfectly roasted, never bitter. Sweets are baked in house and I truly appreciate the vegan options offered, enter the vegan smore cookie. Yum and yum. Staff is super efficient, courteous and helpful.

First time in Bowmanville and happened to walk past this cute little coffee shop. We got their banana bread chai and latte with the pumpkin cheesecake cookie and OH MY GOSH SO GOOD! I wish we didn’t live 3 hours away, we will definitely be back! The two gals behind the counter were so sweet and welcoming! 10000% recommend! :)
