Went to Starapple for the 1st time tonight. They have wonderful customer service. We had Jerk chicken, Ox tail, and chicken sandwich, Salt fish fritters and each meal was brought to us with great presentation on our plates. Restaurant is very clean. Will definitely return. The food here was excellent; I ordered the jerk pork and my date ordered the oxtail. He is a hard man to please food-wise and he enjoyed his meal very much. We will definitely return! The ackee spring rolls were delicious, but not enough. Should be served as 5 instead of 3. My drink was the Hey Sexy Lady! and it was FANTASTIC! I am looking forward to dining here again - and soon.
Parking: I believe there is a parking lot directly across the street but there is also a lot of metered street parking available.

The service was not up to par for my liking. They did not have water on the table when we asked they said they run out. The waitress did not know the house wines, I had the oxtails which seemed cooked and not as tasty as I expected. The second waitress was more experienced her service was better, got us water, and ensured the birthday sound was played for the occasion. The actual ambiance was ok highlighting some key areas in Jamacia. One of the owners came over and introduced herself which was a nice touch.

We drove all the way from London to try this restaurant. It was well worth the drive. I think I am obsessed with Jamaican ?? food now. The salty fish fritters are crunchy on the outside and soft/spongy on the inside. It pairs beautifully with a sweet/tangy sauce. The oxtail & rice and beans was my favourite. Rich flavour profile with tender and juicy beef. Chef’s kiss. The jerk chicken is the best I have ever had in ??. Well seasoned and the meat is still succulent after BBQ.The festival which is a type of deep fried sweet bread is like nothing I have had before. I honestly enjoyed my meal very much. Sending love to the lovely service team and chef(star of the show). And much appreciation to the owner for making this wonderful experience possible.

Were here for a lunch on Sunday. They have a cute patio and very friendly staff. My first time trying Jamaican roti and it was excellent. We also had the chicken with rice and peas (means beans FYI) and the ox tail. The ox tail was fantastic. We also had the akee spring rolls with the guava jelly - fantastic. Very kind staff, very good food. Must try.
