Sunrise Griddle

If it was available, would rate this place 5++ stars. Found this gem for breakfast (they also have lunch/dinner)on our road trip towards Ottawa as it’s conveniently only a few minutes off the 401. Extensive menu, clean and organized. Food and coffee were hot, fresh and delicious. The owner was so personable and it was clear that this is a local favourite as he was serving tables that he appeared to know their orders before they even sat down. Warm & inviting little spot, we will keep this one on our radar as we make trips along this stretch on the regular. Thank you for a fabulous experience we will be back to try some other dishes. This is a must-dine place!!

We stumbled upon this place about a year and a half ago.. AMAZING FOOD... All of the food sounds amazing but I just can't stop ordering my favorite meals...... I pop in here with my mom, and frequently bring our son who has special needs with us. I have never felt out of place.

A huge thank you to all the staff at Sunrise Griddle for the amazing service, not once, but twice this weekend while we were in town for a hockey tournament. Staff was friendly and the food and the service was fast and top notch. When I called to make the reservations for my large group, I spoke directly to the manager, then when we arrived he came to our table and introduced himself and shook my hand and was very welcoming. Thank you again!

We stopped by Sunrise Griddle on our way back from a road trip and had a wonderful breakfast experience. Seeing halal options made us so happy. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. It’s clear they are very welcoming to families with kids, and we loved that they offer menu options for various dietary sensitivities. We also appreciated their sense of community and care. Truly a delicious and enjoyable experience that was well worth it. We’d love to come back!

I have been coming here with my family for a while now and I must say, it’s always a pleasure. One of the last true places where you can eat a good meal for a reasonable price, while the staff and owner are friendly and down to earth. Highly recommend. Not many places left in Bowmanville where you feel like they aren’t just after your money.

Amazing food with excellent flavor. They offer halal options, making it one of the best breakfast places to visit. The staff were very friendly and welcoming specially Tammy. The price for everything is very reasonable. They also offer free meals for the kids which is an amazing gesture and we truly had a great experience overall. Definitely coming back. 👍

I have lived in bowmanville my whole 27 years of living. Sunrise Griddle has been apart of this town as long as I can remember. Excellent service, lovely atmosphere and friendly faces make this location a must visit for your morning breakfast! My wife who is celiac has a hard time finding gluten free food, especially in Bowmamville! We love coming here to enjoy the gluten free waffles and be able to enjoy our breakfast together!
