Andrea's Steak & Sea Food House

Marigold is a very popular and well known restaurant in the small town of Bracebridge which I visited today on my special day and I am highly impressed with the food and drinks they offer. They are best in the town for Indian food.

I ordered steak, rice and vegetables for take-out. The food tasted great. The steak was done exactly how I asked. The staff are very friendly. The inside of the restaurant is pretty cool.

I'll be going back to dine in :)

EDIT: I wanted to follow up for anyone reading this review who may have Celiac's Disease. I have not had a reaction after 3 meals here.

Very traditional steakhouse with medieval wooden accents throughout. Genuine service with generous servings of food. Try the prime rib or steak Diane. Good prices. Take your kids here for an old school restaurant experience before the owner sells or retires.

We had an excellent date night at Andrea’s. First time there, loved the time warp atmosphere. Great homemade Caesar salad and escargot, and the flambéed steaks were not only cool but cooked perfectly. Prices very reasonable. Thank you! We’ll be back!

Our fifth time going to Andrea's, We visit every time when visiting from out of town. The staff are very attentive, friendly and the food service is great. The look from the outside is dated, but specific for the time period and history of the restaurant. Waitress has a wealth of information about it's history and stories of the previous owners. I would highly suggest this restaurant, a hidden gem that most people drive by.

Vegetarian options: Frozen vegetables were served. The onion soup was a small portion with next to no onions, topped with processed cheese and next to no croutons. Will not be returning.

The food was blah. No seasoning on steak. Frozen fries all 10 that we got. The vegetables were frozen. Yes frozen! With all the markets in Muskoka and you have frozen green giant vegetables. Let's not talk about the Caesar salad that was swimming in some buttery sauce with these tiny tiny pieces of croutons I believe! And the garlic bread was days old. NOT IMPRESSED
$250 would have been better flushed.
Sorry would not recommend this place.

Oh and let's not forget the items offered but not on menu. So if your not a regular you won't know cause the waitress won't t offer it. For example. Rack of lamb

No specials but there is a creepy old lady walking around d watching ya.

Could go on but I think you get it. Don't waste your $$$ here

Used to come here from the cottage in Port Carling semi regularly back in the day. Always enjoyed the prime rib. Great service and reasonable prices. Glad to hear it's back after the fire.
