Bracebridge Barrelhouse

We had lunch here. We ordered trout fish tacos and the meat platter with chicken wings, pulled pork and brisket that was very dry it was difficult to swallow. We did not order beer as I was driving. The fish tacos had very little fish in it. I think the food that we ordered were way overpriced. We left the restaurant feeling very disappointed.

Staff very friendly, kind and efficient. Food of good quality, served quickly and hot. Mentioned it was special occasion and received a dessert on the house. Very kind.

Great place for food and beer. I came here after a long hike and got a large burger and a flight of beer for a reasonable price. Definitely worth stopping by. Amazing food. Amazing service.

Barrelhouse is one of our “go-to” spots. Unfortunately we’ve had some pretty slow service our last couple of visits. Not sure if this is on the kitchen side of things or what the reasoning is. The wait staff are usually quite attentive and friendly. The food is typically great but if you are with a party over 4+ people expect a wait. It does get rather busy on the weekends/special holidays. Wish they’d bring back their spin dip, although the maple bacon dip is great too!

Amazing food! The rainbow trout tacos are a must try. Whenever we’re in town we always eat here once or twice! Definitely recommend!

The place has a ton of cool beer selections to try and purchase at the front, service was also alright.

Food was less than mid😵‍💫 tbh the chicken I had was so dry and it literally tasted like it was made 3 days ago, server never came by to ask how it was😷🤧 also the pulled pork tacos tasted old, barely had any seasoning sooo so I recommend going for drinks only

We were looking forward for our first visit to this restaurant. Never order fish and chips they were terrible, the waiter asked my husband if he wanted one piece of fish or two, he requested one piece.
The size of the fish fit the palm of a small hand.
My husband told me that was the worse fish and chips he ever had.
I order the brisket sandwich, it was ok nothing to brag.
Our bill was with tip was $ 90.00 with 2 beers
We will never go back, service was very good and is a nice place but not worth it at all.

Came by on a recommendation from a local with my friends staying at a cottage for the weekend. Let me tell you- the food was AMAZING! To the point one of my friends had a dream about the pork belly that night 🤣 I had the Mac and cheese with added double smoked bacon. The vibe of the place was great too along with the service staff. Highly recommend stopping by while you’re in cottage country!

It took over an hour to get a kids hamburger, ceasar salad and a noodle bowl! Wasn’t very busy, just poorly run. Food was not bad.
