Plenty of vegan choices. Also cater for vegetarians and pescetarians.

I was SO DISAPPOINTED. I stopped by their deli - like I usually do after I take the kids to Santa’s Village and they were open until 6, but they had a sign on their door saying the deli closed at 4 that day for some reason. If they would have announced it on FB I could have easily stopped in before we went to Santa’s Village.

I decided to pop into Muskoka Natural store to check out vegan food finds but also to check out Deli Lama for vegan food options. I was told that much had been sold by the time I had arrived and that the food selection wasn’t big , but in my opinion I was thrilled and so happy to see so many vegan gluten free options! Honestly when I see more than one vegan option, I want to shout out!? I was told most of the food was sold by volume or weight so can’t comment on the food prices, but scored the last box of GF sesame noodles with veg and garlic for $5 which was delicious and devoured in no time and thought the cranberry orange GF scones were decent size and a steal at $2.50 a piece! Got one to enjoy with my morning coffee tomorrow. I asked about the GF vegan cheese and veg pizza which at $6.95 was again decent size and well priced. What I saw made me realize that next time I come out for a few days to visit and chill in Bracebridge , I will not have to lug food from home to prepare at the air bnb , but simply get most of my meals here! By the way, I saw no tuna and only vegan and vegetarian options. Updated from previous review on 2022-09-03

This place is not bad, they do have some good vegan options - I particularly like the mac & cheese and the breakfast burrito, and the soups are always good. Sometimes the food seems like it could be fresher, and the prices are a little high. There is a decent variety of salads but they could stand to add in some new ideas more often - and I wish the tabbouleh were vegan! The baked goods are okay. As others have mentioned, it's a little odd that they sell tuna wraps at a vegetarian deli. Overall, I'm glad this place exists and occasionally I grab a bite when I'm shopping in the store. The store itself has a lot of great vegan groceries.

We’ve been here several times at the old location and new. Food is supposed to be all vegetarian with vegan options but we’ve seen tuna before. I’m always hopeful when I try a dish like lasagna, Mac n cheese or battered tofu but food is always just so so. Desserts are a bit better. It’s great in a pinch because there isn’t much else around but I’m surprised anyone would get this food catered.

Lots of health food items to choose from and the takeaway food is pretty good. I found some of the things that I would prefer warm was cold however.

The look and smell of the food was awesome. I had the vegan breakfast burrito with refried beans, scrambled tofu and daiya cheese. It was amazing, loved it. Great store and outside seating area. Turmeric latte was delicious too.

I find since they changed their location, the food has lost quality. Also there isn't always a wide selection of vegan options. I would recommend the rice bowls, bbq tofu wraps and the curried rice. The baked goods are also good, when there are vegan options.

Excellent food and TONS of vegan options! Very friendly and helpful staff. Quaint atmosphere. We're from Mississauga and will definitely stopping by many more times when cottage season hits!

This is such a great deli with tons of vegan options and an attached health store with all sorts of specialty grocery items a lot of which are vegan and eco friendly! I have been twice now and can vouch for their vegan chocolate brownie as well as their vegan Mac n cheese - both were wonderful :)

We enjoyed several delicious vegan entrees at The Deli Lama July 2017: lasagne, crispy tofy rice bowl with peanut sauce, tofu breakfast wraps, carrot cake cupcakes and a nanaimo bar. It's unfortunate that they call themselves vegetarian but serve fish (tuna wraps, etc).

Being new to the Vegetarian/Vegan lifestyle - I was so excited to visit the Deli Lama! I have always had amazing service and I have never been disappointed with food options or quality. Everything is top notch and fulfilling!
