We stop by with the kids after visiting Santa's village. It is a cozy bar, in a hard to find spot but the food was amazing and the owner was super nice... We had a great time. We live in Oakville but will definitely go back when in that area.

Kid-friendliness: They were welcomed very much

This place is a hidden gem! Not easy to find, not at all where you think a pub would be found. You walk through the door and it's a definite step back in time. The Bartenders/servers are super friendly. It's not a huge place, but it works. The atmosphere it light and welcoming. Their menu is small but, delicious. My partner and I both had the turkey club and we shared a deconstructed ceasar salad. The food was prepared with care and pride. Everything fresh and homemade. They put their own spin on every menu item. For those who like trying new and different draught beers, this is definitely a place for you! We didnt know anyone in the establishment but, yet we were all laughing and joking with one another. There was a group of woman that came in dressed up in costumes for a pub crawl, there was no seat left, but these women where just fine with standing room only. If you can find the Griffin Pub, you definitely deserve to be there!

Don't be scared from walking down a little back road and miss this place. We had a really nice brunch, and there was a man playing guitar at the same time. We got a Frittatta and Chia Puddin, and both really good! I believe the frittata $21 and chia was $18. I'll recommend this to my friends for sure.

A little stroll up a london-type alley named Chancery Lane brings you to the Griffin Pub. Through the red door and down the stairs and you're transported back in time to this vintage pub where we met the owner Ben! Atmosphere was so friendly (shout-out to the pub-crawling Halloween ladies You were so much fun!), food (try the hand-cut fries!) and staff were amazing and the best part? Live music Wednesday-Sunday!
Take a trip to this amazing pub, you won't be disappointed!

Very interesting place to get a nice atmosphere and unique meal. We partially liked their Nashvill Chicken Sandwich and their ale suggestion. Great test and even more - great aftertaste!
You have to drive from the street inside through a narrow pass,to get to their free parking, or park on City Street, also free and walk a bit.

We had an amazing experience at this pub over our weekend in Bracebridge. We went Thursday night and ended up there another two times over our visit.

The food is extraordinarily incredible. Don’t sleep on their menu, both regular and brunch. It’s unheard of to eat this good at a pub!

The beer list is extensive and features a ton of great local beers from various breweries. They were able to fill the wants of our Heffe, mixed drink, and sour beer lovers with ease.

Service was wonderful and despite the big crowd they were able to keep up and keep our whistles wet. This place can get popping!

But really it was the music and mood that makes this place. Grab some drinks, fill the gullets and sit back and relax to some great musicians! What a great little spot in the back alleys of Bracebridge! Go go go check them out! I know we’ll be back next time we’re in town!

Fantastic! This little, hard to find, pub is awesome. We hit it on a Friday night and really enjoyed the great band and the overall vibe. The food is really good and very generous. Best poutine ever. Kudos to the chef. A good selection of drinks and a very good Viva La Stout. The wait staff are super friendly and attentive. If we didn't live 3000km away this would be our place!

Parking: A bit confusing. Just ask a waiter and they will happily point out where to park.

What a fantastic little pub! A little quiet today for lunch on a Friday. But this place is probably usually buzzing with people and music.

I ordered the turkey bacon club, but they had no bacon. They substituted it with a piece of their fried chicken and it’s incredible! Crisp, crunchy and flavourful.

The fries. My god the fries. I could come in here just for them.

Highly recommend walking up the little pathway from the main st of downtown bracebridge and finding yourself at the top at the Griffin Pub!

What a gem. Only downside was finding it as it's tucked away down an alley off the beaten path so to say.
Started with drinks. Gf got a Bangarang tropic (vodka seltzer) which was on tap. Unusual to have that on tap.
I had Long Island Ice Tea which I will say was one of the better ones I have had lately.
We had the Risotto Balls for a starter. What a yummy interesting take on Risotto and the marinara sauce was soo good. For mains it was the Nashville buttermilk chicken sandwich. Definitely got some spicyness but full of flavor.
Gf got the BLT with turkey, this is a massive sandwich.
Both of us had the poutine as sides. Nice to see a well made poutine with home cut fries, real cheese curds and thick tasty gravy.
Service was spot on. Super friendly, definitely can tell they are happy working there.
The patio looks amazing looking at sitting there next time.
Few interesting points.
Parking only after 6 and weekends can be in front.
No reservations. A little hard to find but worth the looking.
