Service started off friendly and our group's orders were taken quickly, but that’s where it ended. After the food arrived, the server never checked on our table, or to refill drinks at any point. Had she done so, we could have mentioned that the meat portions of breakfast were not edible. Best way to describe the meat: sitting on a burner and repeatedly reheated.

The only time our group was asked how the food was, happened at the time of payment, at which point we were told, “well, you should have said something.” That was frustrating given that no one checked on us during the meal. Very disappointing experience and not somewhere I’d return to.

Breakfast was cold, over cooked, dry, hard. The bacon was so hard you could re-deck the floor with it. Same goes for the sausage: over cooked, split open, cold, rock hard. I ordered the MEAT LOVERS SKILLET not the !!! LEFTOVERS SKILLET!!!

Considering everything was COLD and NOT HOT, the 'SKILLET' part is missing too. The hollandaise sauce was so bad, you could install wall paper with it. Weirdly creamy not buttery. Hash browns weren't too bad.

Couldn't send anything back since no one came to check on us after the meal was served, not even for coffee or water refills. Paid, tipped, but will not be going back.

To say I'm disappointed is an undestament. I have been going here for breakfast for years and always had great service and food, but after two separate visits, back to back the food quality continues to decline. I got the Triple Threat last time, same issue, cold/hard/dry.

The food was amazing. Best breakfast I've had in a long time! The server was very knowledgeable about gluten free. They have gluten free bread as well. We are not locals but our waitress treated us like we've been in there before. They were really great with my son as well! 10/10

Great home cooked meals and daily special and good breakfasts. The staff are friendly and the food is reasonably priced. My favourite daily special is the fish & chips and the cabbage roll special.

Just left the restaurant after sitting waiting to be served for 25 minutes…. No drink, watched the waitress serve tables that came in after we did. Waitress watched us walk out and didn’t even acknowledge that we were leaving. Will not be back, TERRIBLE service!!

It had been years since my husband & I had been to Homestyle Cafe, but years apart in visits the food quality only got better. He had the eggs Benedict & I had the French toast with whipped cream, nothing short of absolutely delicious!! He's been talking about his benedict for weeks since we visited. Definitely the place to go for a scrumptious breakfast!!

It’s like you go back in time a little. But you feel a little bit left out if you are not from their. Nobody was rude or anything but people are gonna watch you. Anyway, breakfast was really nice. Service was ok, you have to pay at the front when you leave. Bathrooms could use a renovation though but it works.
