I used to frequently go to the Pita Pit in Bowmanville, Ontario and IT WAS LEGENDARY! Went to a new one in Oshawa and it was meh. Never went back. That was three years ago.
In Bracebridge, hangry, the hubby and I stopped in for a quick late lunch. I ordered a chicken rice bowl and it was very filling and large considering it was referred to as "regular" size. I will admit there wasn't a lot of chicken in there but that seems to be the norm these days in these protein bowls.
Hubby ordered a beef pita and he was content ... so that's good news.

After a terrible experience at another location, it was really redeeming to visit this location. The staff were very friendly. They were removing stray food items that were in the wrong bins. They were lifting the bins out and wiping around the sills. Wiping the counters. Very clean. Food was fresh and amazing.

Fantastic team, always with a smile or suggestions when I need them. I've ordered catering a few times and they always offer to help bring it to the car and have it packaged and labeled with care.
The food is always fresh, new gloves are worn, surfaces are wiped down. Obviously a good team that has each other's backs during busy times.
Dietary restrictions: Easy to customize for dairy free, vegetarian, keto etc
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu. Customizations are the norm. Photos on the menus and able to see the toppings as they put them on.

Treated like a nuisance. Food was prepared in an awful manner. Saturday afternoon must be the worst time to go here, though it was not busy at all I was still rushed and treated rudely.
The girls here are always pleasant and fast… would be nice to be able to leave a non cash tip here, maybe something for the owners to consider with the POS.Always great service!

OMG!!! Today I had the Haloumi Bacon Bomb - and it was the BOMB!!!! Absolutely awesome!!!! The ladies that work here are always fabulous!!!! Highly recommend Pita Pit pitas.... no pitas anywhere like it!!! And I hope they keep the Haloumi Bacon Bomb on the menu....so so good!!!!

I order a falafel rice bowl yesterday and the rice was not cooked and was hard so disgusting. I always get the same bowl every time I go and this time was so disappointing and a complete waste of my money. You should really start tasting your food to make sure it’s actually cooked and not raw!

I ordered my pita online and went to the store to pick up. There were a few people in store ordering, the staff were quick to serve everyone and I was in and out very quickly since I had ordered ahead. The website is easy to use, really effective when I am in a hurry.

I did not enjoy my food at all. There was like 6 small chunks of chicken in my bowl. Sauces are very blend and flavourless. It was not worth the price.
