Amazing pastries and cozy atmosphere! Caldense Bakery never disappoints. Their selection of pastries is top-notch, and the strawberry cheesecake is a standout—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Friendly staff and a welcoming vibe make it a great spot to grab a treat or relax with a coffee.

Valdemar bakery is an amazing place to get your cakes from! Maria made my daughter’s confirmation an unforgettable experience. She created such a beautiful cake for her ! Everyone asked where we got the cake from and we were more than happy to refer them here!

Authentic Portuguese Bakery. I was able to obtain Azorean butter and cheese as well!
Very unorganized, confusing, the workers are taking random orders, no line system. I waited while they served two people who came in after me while I was standing there waiting 8 months pregnant.
Omg! Their pastries is to die for; especially their almond croissant. Their service is impeccable. The items are in Portuguese, I believe, but they take their time to explain every pastry to you and what's in it. Love love it. The prices are also reasonable
Never had a bad experience here. Baked goods are always good.
Their Portuguese tarts are good! I also ordered a whole chocolate mousse cake. It was delicious but a little too sweet for me. I will come back to try the other cakes and buy more tarts.
People were very pleasant we had cheese cake ?

My favourite bakery in town to grab some pastries last minute before any party. Everything is always fresh, the staff is friendly and the coffee is pretty great.

I had an hour in between meetings this morning and was just about to get into Starbucks, but noticed this location and instantly my head was filled with nostalgic memories. I used to work nearby another location in Toronto and would go pick up some breakfast sandwich and natas for the Portuguese colleagues on a monthly basis.
A bite on the nata brought me back to the days of that first job out of school, it tasted the same all these years. Very fluffy and crunchy crust with the same old fashioned custard, my body just couldn’t take that much sweet anymore so the latte helps wash it down.
The service is excellent, my heart warmed up as the staffs greeted with a genuinely smile and they are very nice people. The service sector deserves a 5 star because the visit made me feel like home. The girl server and I had a miscommunication so unfortunately the nata didn’t get warmed up, and she thought I wanted to order an additional plain omelette. I didn’t want to waste the food so I took it any way. When I checked out, the cashier lady explained that the girl is new and not very fluent in English, and offered to waive the omelette.
