Churrasqueira Costa Verde

We love the food here. This place is always so clean, food is so fresh, and they’re making lots of chickens all day!

Two half chickens with rice and potatoes were ordered. We usually love it, the taste, the quality, but unfortunately not this time. The chicken and potatoes were not fresh. Chicken was hard and not juicy and potatoes not tasted good. I hope the quality stays the same as before. Otherwise, losing customer(s).

Great service and food

We asked for Dobrada and that was a big mistake. We think the beans were from can, beans were hard and salty, barely anything from the actual Dobrada. The price was too high for the portion. Costumer service was very poor, showing no knowledge about the Portuguese Dobrada. This the last time I ordered anything from there. It was not worthy to go from Barrie to Bradford to try a Portuguese dish. It was my third time purchasing something from there and my last one.

The food is amazing. We order delivery from this location frequently and have catered a few birthdays with their platters. We ate in the restaurant recently and even though the food was great as usual, our overall experience suffered due to confusion during the ordering process. This restaurant gets very busy and there is no clear signage telling people where to line up and where to wait for their food. Additionally, they do not have a numbering system for people to know when it is their turn. The staff was busy taking orders and therefore did not inform people of the process which led to multiple complaints by many of the people walking in. We will continue to order online but will most likely not visit the location to dine again. They should consider installing proper signage or creating a system to increase efficiency in client pathways. It will create a better atmosphere.

DO NOT ORDER IF YOUR ORDERING FOR A LARGE GROUP OF 30-40 PEOPLE.
I had an event last weekend with 35-40 people, I booked through the catering process, made all the arrangements well in advance, then prepaid my order the night before to ensure it was all going to run smoothly my pick up time was arranged well in advance 1:30. So I sent my driver to pick up food for 1:30pm (as scheduled), when he walked in the chicken was raw on the grill and was told 10-15 mins. 2:00 pm not ready, 2:30 pm just got the order. At this point I was furious as I had guest waiting for food. No courtesy call to say there was an issue or delay. Nothing! No explanation given to the driver only they were busy. After waiting 2 days for the manager to call me back, I had to call him back and the excuse was they had grill issues. Once I recieved the food we had one tray of dried up chicken and one tray of good chicken. Only to hear from the manager they had one tray ready and cut up waiting for the next 5 chickens an hour later. The manager offered no compensation except a dinner if I wanted it??? No discount ( my order was almost $500.00). Needleless to say myself and/or my 35-40 guest will not be ordering from this location EVER AGAIN. Very poor service, no compassion for customers. RUDE!

Very disappointed!!!
Too expensive for the service offered. They don't have plates, no water, Plastic knives and forks, no glasses.
We were expecting restaurant similar the Costa verde (North York), but it is way far.

I picked up catering for a family birthday dinner yesterday evening. I realized while I was there that I should have ordered more of something they make to order for catering. The owner quickly checked to see if they were able to give me four more pieces and had it on the grill quickly. The food is always so amazing, and the service speaks for itself. Thanks again to the team at Costa Verde for another successful dinner and your amazing customer service. So good!

It was my second time and this time food was really good. Ordered a rotisserie chicken, grilled chicken, fries, potatoes, rice and octopus salad. All so very yummy. Well worth the time it took to cook it. Highly recommend. Great job. Thank you

Stopped in after my son's hockey practice. The aroma was notices from a distance. We looked for Swiss Chalet but found this. Was not disappointed. Portion was great. Food was delicious. Made up for service. Although they were courteous that could have been more friendly. Dine in was nice too.

Recently visited this location and was thrilled to be able to find a place that serves Portuguese food close by. Moving from a busy city where Portuguese food is all around, I didn't think I could find a place that could compete outside the city. But was pleasantly surprised. Food was really good. Of course, the round Portuguese potatoes are the one part of the meal that I always find that is not fully cooked in any restaurant (they are difficult to cook due to the style of potatoe). Everything else was great. We got the whole chicken, rice, potatoes and salad. Portions to me were great. You do need to place the order on the far left from the cashier and you do need to wait but it wasn't too bad especially on a Friday night. The atmosphere was modern and trendy. We will definitely try this place again.

Parking: Lots of parking spaces available. Must be best to park a little away from the restaurant as it can be busy, especially with Starbucks not too far from the restaurant.
