Waiter bought to my table something I only asked about (thinking I had ordered it). I don't see a problem in that, but then he kept arguing I did (and I had to be sorry about it)! When he headed back to the kitchen to return the dish, he stopped and gave the heaviest sigh.... Food was good, but the service left a stronger impression.

The worst experience in Mexican food, the food has no flavor, the choriquezo is a plate of beans with some chorizo and cheese shavings, the chilaquiles had slices of roast beef thinner than ham and the soda glasses are very small, they do not have soda cans and the soda is from a machine and is not refillable. The birria dish is pure broth, it has no meat and the service is terrible. They assigned us a table and halfway through the meal they moved us because we had a reservation. The waiter did not stop talking and did not let us eat. I will never go back and I do not recommend that you waste your money. The food is garbage.
Without a doubt the worst restaurant I have ever visited.

Food was bland and service terrible. The owner was very rude and arrogant. I would never recommend this place! Much tastier and genuine food can be had elsewhere.

The taste of the food is what keeps us coming back. We travel from Brampton because of taste, the staff is friendly and they always try to accommodate my kids. Love the cafe de olla, my boys enjoy the Machetes.

Unfortunately just had our first bad experience here and it will probably keep us from coming back.
We liked coming here as a family as our daughter loves the music. First visit the owner was so friendly and helpful that we continued to come back. Until tonight.
I don’t know what has happened but both the service and food was so unfortunate. Like an 2/10 experience tonight.
Everything was cold. Our nacho cheese was not melted (like at all, not even warmed, is this the norm here? So strange).
We sent the fish tacos back because they were super cold and super fishy. Asked a server if they’re supposed to be that way and she said “I think so?”.
All the tortillas were soggy.
Chips were stale.
Our 4 year olds chicken fingers were RAW. Sent them back. They were apologetic but not deeply concerned.
When we got the bill, the server comped the chicken fingers (obviously) but refused to take off the fish tacos (that we didn’t eat and sent back).
We didn’t complain about anything else but it was clear that we hadn’t eaten our meals. we took a few things home so we could warm them up.
The server didn’t seem concerned and rarely visited the table after food was served.
I’m just so shocked and so bummed with how terrible the experience was. We loved it here and now need a new spot.
I recommend trying the place and making your own call, but it seems to have gone way downhill in quality and service.

Typical Latino behavior !!
We called before we headed to this place to make sure was open, and they said yes, we are open.
we drove all the way from Ajax to have lunch there and when we arrive was CLOSE !!!
we called several time with no response.
THIS IS NOT TE RIGHT WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS GUYS !!!
Love the tostadas and pina coladas. Authentic and high quality products. The lunch sizes are great too.

JUST GO HERE! We went last Saturday evening. This included a party of 12 with kids. The food was outstanding and the entertainment was superb. The singer had everyone dancing and singing . Kids had a blast. Food was amazing and the owner was attentive ensuring that every patron received nothing but the best in their meals and drinks. Did I mention the drinks? Go here and get a margarita or a chupa chupa! I was so impressed and drove out here from Vaughan and will do it again! We all felt like we were in Mexico! Check it out people you won’t regret it! Order the nachos, the shrimp tostadas, fish tacos, the homemade fries, the burritos and don’t forget the dolce de leche cake!

Vegetarian options: They where willing to work with me on anything I choose with the eye roll. Lol
Dietary restrictions: I'm vegan but I knew I'd have nonway around the cheese so I had a few vegetarian options to choose from and I was super happy

I ordered the "5 premium tacos" consisting of "pastor" and "cochinita pibil". The pricing was reasonable, coming out to $3.99 per taco before tax but they were quite small. I found the "pastor" to be dry and not very flavorful but the pieces of pineapple was good to see. The "cochinita pibil" was decent, but no where near my top 5. The medium hot sauce I ordered was just okay in flavor but if you really like spicy, there is one that seems to be extremely spicy according to others who tried it.
The service was decent but there was some hiccups with ordering something a particular way but it coming differently and not labeling the food properly, meaning you receiving things you didn't ask for or knew was coming on the dish. It seems to be a family run restaurant so it's friendly. They accept cash, debit and credit card.
The location is well placed on a main street and with interior design noticeably being a main focus on the experience but also including an outdoor patio in the parking lot with sun umbrellas and picnic tables.
Ultimately, the food was lackluster with spotty service but the location brought a higher level of experience. I may or may not return to try something else, but I wouldn't return for the "pastor", "cochinita pibil" or hot sauce

Such a welcoming restaurant! The food is delicious, and the owner and staff are so sweet. I didn’t have any drinks, but they looked and sounded so delicious. A must try is their chicharronnes. So incredibly tasty and crispy. The hey caramba salad is full of cheese, and is chopped up just how I like it. They were able to use new oil to fry the chips, so they would be gluten free. Incredibly service, thank you so much!
Dietary restrictions: Most of the menu is gluten free, apart from the burritos and quesadillas.
Parking: Lots of parking available in the lot or on the street.
