Loved their sweet potato chips. Nicely done, great taste. Server was quite pleasant, smiling and respectful. Nice look out on the river. Tables on property were nice and clean. We were told by a local that they made the best poutine !

We ordered fries and an order of poutine. The poutine had cheese curds which is always nice. The fries themselves were hot and made fresh.
The service was friendly but I think the most fantastic part was the view of the Ottawa River and Quebec. It was beautiful.
Bettyâs Chips is an absolute treasure! If youâre a fan of crispy, golden French fries, mouthwatering poutines, and perfectly fried Shanghai rolls, this place is a must-visit. The fries are always fresh, hot, and seasoned just right â a perfect balance of crunch and softness. Their poutines are loaded with rich gravy and squeaky cheese curds that melt beautifully into every bite.
But what really surprised me were the Shanghai rolls â crisp on the outside, savory and flavorful on the inside. A unique and delicious addition to the menu that you wonât find at your average chip stand.

Went to Bettyâs today for the first time this season and it was just ok. The staff was very friendly but the poutine was nothing special. I had to ask for more gravy because it was bone dry, and it was $10 for a small. There were tons of wasps around the ordering window, condiments and seating area. I havenât had the egg rolls from Golden Palace yet this season from Bettyâs, but usually theyâre great and I would still highly recommend those! I was just disappointed in the poutine and especially because I took someone there for the first time today and it was underwhelming. The scenic view was very nice though!
