Went to Betty’s today for the first time this season and it was just ok. The staff was very friendly but the poutine was nothing special. I had to ask for more gravy because it was bone dry, and it was $10 for a small. There were tons of wasps around the ordering window, condiments and seating area. I haven’t had the egg rolls from Golden Palace yet this season from Betty’s, but usually they’re great and I would still highly recommend those! I was just disappointed in...
Great local hidden gem for a quick stop and chips. You need to tore the paper bag into a dipping plate. It is different for sure, thought the fries with skin might taste better. $7.50 for chips with the view. They take credit card, but cash would help the local, so we paid in cash.

I just discovered this beautiful little spot with an amazing view of the Ottawa River! Outstanding poutine and from other reviews I have read it sounds like most everything else is just as good. Will be back and highly recommend
