Aviator Cafe & Bar

The food was OK, however the pricing was shocking! $7plus tax for 1ltr of water. 3 sandwiches, 2 waters was just over $40. I understand that the Cafe needs to cover costs, but this out of hand.

Great renovation done. Good stop to grab your last minute pre flight snacks and meals. Lots of seating area to enjoy a meal on the spot. The sandwiches are fresh the assortment of treats is good. The staff are always friendly on my travels.

I haven seen a cafe in any airport in a long time like this. I travel across the US and Canada. Small, quaint, friendly and food looks like I would not regret any choice they have on the menu. Not fancy but good old deli style sandwiches hot or cold. Worth buying before hoping on a flight!

Hair in my food and the lady wouldn’t do a refund, just an exchange for something of equal or LESSER value. I just wanted my money back because I had lost my appetite, but since that wasn’t an option I grabbed something else which I had to PAY THE DIFFERENCE ON…. They’ll couldn’t comp $1. ONE DOLLAR after finding a hair…. Baked into the cheese… Gross. I tipped the first time too. Wouldn’t recommend.

My first time at Waterloo airport I was so delighted to find a restaurant open at 5 AM. I would have settled for anything but I was even more delighted to find that the coffee was fantastic and the staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Wish I could go there without flying!

A hidden gem. I was amazed they are staying open until the last (very delayed) flight leaves.

this place was really nice because at 4am theres no where else to eat so its nice to be able to grab a bite to eat at such a small airport. the food was pretty good although quite expensive but it is in an airport so its not so bad. the hot coffee and muffins are really a life saver at such a small airport.

This cafe was exactly what I needed before my long 5 hour strenuous flight. I am very grateful to have experienced the care of the charismatic and courteous staff. Thank you again for the wonderful experience.
